Adding Google Earth Satellite Image/Google Maps and Work Faster in ArcGIS
Hello everyone, welcome to a brand new video on GIS & RS Solution KZread channel. Today, I am going to show you an important tutorial on adding a portable basemap server in ArcMap instead of default basemap. While ArcGIS does provide a default basemap option, you might have noticed that it can slow down your PC due to its large file size covering the entire world map. This can be particularly time-consuming if you're working on tasks like creating a land use map or any other tasks while using this default basemap option.
To enhance your workflow and work more faster, I recommend using basemap server that you can easily download and integrate into ArcGIS. The process is straightforward, and I'll guide you through the steps. You can find the download link for this basemap server software in the description section of this video. Simply download it and follow the steps of this video on how to add it to ArcGIS.

Thanks it very usefull Turtorial I am.using file base map and I have issue for update location will not appear so Let me know if basemap srver will be update autoamicaly And also creating user is it free or paid

Image resolution is not sharp enough to identify structures at 1:400 ,can you please help,how to make resolutions higher/sharper
didn't work on arcmap 10.8 sir. when the basemap dragged to table of content, it just displayed a folder with sad face

Please follow properly. I am using it in 10.4.1 version of my personal pc, and also in office pc which is 10.8 version. So, I think it will work for all 10.x version. Try again.

In Arcgis pro goto insert..........> Connections...........>Server...........>New WMTS Server............>paste the link same process shown in this video and add it from Catalog
