For names, I would suggest "Gilded Sunrise" or "Return the Sun". Because the Solstice was all about recognizing that after this night the darkness would slowly start to recede and eventually the spring would come. Seeing this has given me a few ideas, though, that it might be fun to pass on. Idea one is for these specific cubes. Do one themed around a gold mine and call it "Gold Rush". Idea two: "Dragon's Hoard". The base of the soap should be colored to look like a treasure chest. Brown layered or swirled to resemble wood, maybe down the middle a solid band dotted with three small round metallic soap embeds to look like nails or bolts holding the chest together. Then the frosting on top is gold, and the top of THAT is literally encrusted with every shiny glittery luxe-looking embed you can rustle up. The gold nuggets, golden coins, clear colored melt and pour "gems" in all colors, gold drizzle to look like gold chains- you get the idea. So you can't even really see the frosting under it, because it's solid embeds, like a treasure chest overflowing with treasures. Idea three: use this same color palette for the soap proper to make a "butterscotch pudding" soap because that's exactly what it looks like. So if your thing looks like a dessert, why not lean into that?

i love your dragon's hoard idea. i wanna see it done with maybe gold melt and pour like she has here but with small circular molds, maybe a long cylinder? and cut into slices to make little coins. those might look cool dispersed inside the soap like a cross section of an actual treasure chest. topped with gold frosting, glitter and gem embeds it'd be like an overflowing chest of riches!

I have used lots of gemstones & you really need a cutter designed for M&P a knife. It will pop your wires be hard to cut thru.

Solstice Citrine! It reminds me of citrine crystals and is also a November stone next to Topaz.

It gives me a "golden harvest" vibe... absolutely stunning!

Being Pagan, I think Solstice suits the soap PERFECTLY! Reason being ... some Pagan traditions celebrate the Winter Solstice as 'The Return of The Sun' because the days start getting longer ❤

I remember some KZreadr explaining once that they did very short outros because if people didn’t watch all the way to the end of videos then ad revenues would be affected. But Katie could literally deliver a 3 hours sermon and I’d still be glued to the screen 😂

I love the idea of a bar like this being named Midas' Touch, reminds me of King Midas where everything he touches turns to gold. Good theme with how many different gold elements went in to this bar.

Please keep doing your long Katie outros! I've been thinking about doing a daily Gratitude Journal for awhile now. It's helpful to hear from someone who keeps one to hear they feel it works for them. I love this last soap - the color alone is bright and cheery, perfect for this time of year. Keep up all of the good works you do!

Oddly enough this soap reminded me of Code Lyoko. The cubes are reminiscent of the pixels that make up the virtual world, and the colors made me think of the Desert Sector. Definitively an unexpected memory

This soap reminds me a bit of that nice Golden Hour just before sunset. It's so shimmery and comforting.

I've used little soap cubes like those as single use hand soaps in my guest bathroom. My guests just use one small cube to wash their hands and any bits that are left can go down the drain.

My 6yo daughter loved this one. She would call it Sunny Gold 💛

I love the golden design Katie!!! You should name it "before the dark" because of the winter solstice as it's in that sort of series. And have a little sunset with a snowflake engraving on the side of the soap in a white sparkle.

The "winter blues" is actually called SAD! Seasonal Affective Disorder. Along with vitamins I'm pretty sure the recommended treatment is a UV light.

"Pyrite" would be a great name! Pyrite is fool's gold, and can natural form perfectly cubic crystals that look just like the cubes on the top.

That swirl is so soft and beautiful!!!

I love the idea of doing a gradient with the cubes. Like 3 layers of semi transparent cube imbeds darkest to lightest from bottom to top. The soap would end up being about 50% glycerin soap but some people really like glycerin soap 🤷‍♀ Anyways big fan of the Starlight collection.

I just had such a good idea for a mystery soap collection or just a soap collection in general! A gems collection. Ruby, Pearl, Emerald, Sapphire, Opal, Diamond, Jade, Turquoise would be so cool (my birth stone so obviously I have a special place in my heart for it😊) you could even do all the 12 birth stones! I know that would be a ton of soaps to a collection tho, way too many but just an idea I got really excited about!

Such a stunning bar of soap! Love the design and colours!

Petitgrain is extracted from the leaves of the bitter orange tree. It has a deep, complex, green aroma with notes of citrus zest, citrus blossom, and slightly woody undertones.

I really like this soap. (I just went and ordered myself a bar to try it out. ) I particularly like the embellished tops when you put on the mica's and glitter. My mother likes the glitter too. 2024 will be a great year for soaping lots of new ideas in my head. Happy New Year to you and family.

No idea on the name, but that style would make a great geode/gemstone-themed soap series. For example, amethyst = purple swirls with purple "crystal" cubes. Regarding the winter blues, VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTS! A coworker told me about them - we wouldn't get direct sunlight for several months during winter so he started taking them. It made a HUGE improvement in mood and ability to cope with stress.

This is so beautiful!! I think you sold name it "Here Comes the Sun". We had our Solstice Ritual and it's where we welcome back the sun and leave our bothers in the past.

OMGoodness, it just hit me…kinda. I have seasonal depression in the summer and never really do anything but struggle because who has seasonal depression in the summer???? I can totally check out some “winter blues” strategies and just start in July. Like, January is when I really thrive, feel motivated, and stress the least.
