And you see… This is what plastic surgery is for! Not for all these people going around paying people to destroy their bodies but literally she got them to fix a birth defect that has defected her whole life. I’m very happy for her and they did a great job.

I also got the vibe that the mother is super overprotective. Understandable, but this can also impact social life and relationships. I hope everything improves for her

I love how they always set realistic expectations. She didn't get the bubble butt, but she got a very natural & drastically improved booty in the end.

Definitely! It really wasn't THAT bad. Of course, we're all our worst critics.

I don’t think I have seen a more deserving patient. What a lovely young woman. She was gorgeous to begin with but being an African American woman and having this issue, I think, makes it a bigger issue and more debilitating for her. She no longer has to worry about intimacy with a man. I’m sure there are good men out there who would not have cared but now she will go for the quality of man she DESERVES with full confidence. Low confidence can make a person choose low. Like maybe she would have felt she didn’t deserve a top notch man had she not have had the surgery even though she of course did deserve him. Now, I think her new confidence will give her the boost she needed to not limit herself. Shes got so many beautiful features as well as a sweet disposition. Shes gonna get the man she has always deserved.

Something grim about these shows is that the patients are often doing things not so much because THEY want to...but because they hope that surgery will stop the bullying and abuse from other people

This broke my heart. While they did their consultation and she closed her eyes. I felt her holding her breath. I am so glad to see these two reaching folks who need these corrections.

I felt so bad for poor Addie. People can be so mean! Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif really are heaven sent to give their patients what they need to live their best life.

She is such a stunning woman. The deformity held her back for so long. She is beautiful.

What a shame too, it blows me away that our society looks down or otherwise tossed a person out because of a situation like this. Weird when a butt defines an entire person?

She had reasons to fear the judgement of others. It is not just something she is neurotically conjuring up to feel bad about.

Gosh, I honestly can’t wrap my head around how cruel people can be. I stood up for kids that I saw being bullied. I do the same for adults now. I can’t stand to see someone less confrontational or timid being taken advantage of.

My twin sister died at birth but we wasn't conjoined and my mom didn't tell me till she was on her death bed but ill never forget because I immediately started balling my eyes out bc suddenly so much about me and my life and spirits and all all made sense and It was like knowing somthing and feeling your twin and feeling and knowing all these things with your subconscious, your spirits and heart but only learning it in your mind for the first time! I talked and felt my twin my whole life and it was somthing I didn't tell people the depths of how I was but it literally was one of the most amazing moments to know this! This is a wild story I'm happy she knows her twin is with her and more and that she's getting the help she needs!

OMFG she is sooooooo beautiful!! It's horrible she hasn't been intimate yet because of her insecurities. So glad they helped.

I can’t believe someone finally has recognized this! Kevin was a great friend of mine and I used to house sit for him (and his cat) when he toured. Kevin was something else…HUGE personality! And aside from all the rock stuff, could be quite lovely and a good friend.

Addie is stunning. I'm really glad she's going to on with her life feeling better about herself.

How glowy! She radiates. ❤ It's easy for us to say "Well, it's such a small detail" But if I were a teen, and beginning to date, I'd be ACUTELY mortified. She's a wonderful person, and I'm all for fixing it if it upsets her that much. If she were less SHY....she'd be golden! I had a great bubble butt at that age, but somehow it has vanished. My butt looks like two dried apricots in a wrinkled paper lunch bag. But I'm okay with that. I like to think I "worked it off." Go with that!

A butt, does not define you girl, you are so beautiful inside and that transpires to the outside❤

It likely would’ve been an emergency situation, as a conjoined twin where one isn’t “viable” puts the healthy one in immediate and grave danger. One can not survive if the conjoined twin dies.

The reason they didn’t let the parents see it it may have been so abnormal that’s the best they could do.

What a great job, and result. Hats off to her doc, he gave her the result she wanted. However she said she’s very shy, never been intimate due to lack of self confidence, in part from teasing she was subjected to as a teenager. Now she’s going to enter the dating world with little to no previous experience? I fear she may need some help, I sure hope things work out well for her and she gets the life she wanted. Those scars can be deep though, she may struggle even though the physical problem was taken away. ❤️.

What's also on my mind is that, since her twin wasn't viable but they shared DNA, it could have potentially been used to graft additional tissue in her first surgery. I wonder how that procedure would be handled today in or in the near future with some of the improvements in medicine we've had in the last four decades. If she could have had a more normal body from the start, maybe she would have had an easier time growing up. Especially since she's an attractive person, her young adulthood should have been a fun time for her to enjoy friendships and relationships. I hope with better medicine we can make sure people born with abnormalities can still have normal lives
