The problem is is that adding value will only work successfully once the customers have the income necessary to support the business to add value but all those 5 reasons can be so powerful for a business to increase its profit margins by a significant degree

advertising sure makes people want to pay more for a product but does advertising actually add value to society? advertising is trying to convince you that there is a problem and then give you a fix to make $$ but does it make society better off ? it creates jobs but those jobs only create the the feeling of problems in other people's minds i am realy trying to find what advertising is good for but i cant come up with anything does anyone have some ideas ?

I would agree that advertising doesn't add value to society, but it can help businesses add value to their products and increase sales revenue.

it is then very strange to me that advertising is being tolerated at all in society just recourses being waisted what would happen if all of it was banned overnight? sure lots of free things would turn into a subscription model but ads on 1 person is not worth more then a few cents might be a amazing improvement ?

@@frodojuniormlg653 If advertising and marketing were banned or never existed then it's likely that the biggest brands in world wouldn't be the same as they are right now. Consumers are influenced much more than you realise by marketing and advertising.
Doesn’t increasing quality increase costs?
