Great tutorial - currently going through your BMW course. Your awesome. One question on this topic of BMW motorcycles. I tried generating a 8A chip instead of xhorses universal smart key. So basically it would work like the Plastic emergency key (that would start). However we get an error that the vvdi key tool will only accept the XM38 Motorcycke key.... So basically it will only allow a XM38 and not allow us to generate just transponder chip. Do you know of a way around that?

Hey Jonathan, I would suggest trying to chip clone that programmed 8A transponder, however if it's not supported, unfortunately Xhorse only offers programming for full remotes. Reminding that you can contact us via the website chat for immediate response. keyshop-online.com/courses

You can just buy a third-party adapter cable between that circular connector and obd to not need to bridge by wires. For everyone, this doesn't work if you don't have a working smart key, with the emergency key it doesn't work this method either with all key lost no let in
