Update: I was doing this with Springtrap and had finished all the steps except rendering. When I hit the render button, my PC's fan started working over time. it's been over 7 minutes and Blender is still loading the model. It didn't even start rendering yet. I'm going to turn off my PC before it explodes

by the way if you dont want to do it one by one just add the fur to a part of the model and go to another part and hit the + and hit the arrow and look for the name of the other name of the fur

Have to mention, this tutorial will be invalid in a few blender updates, as this particle system is legacy, no longer supported (Principled Hair BSDF no longer fully supports it) and due to be removed (was supposed to happen in 4.0 but was postponed due to not enough time to implement versioning). I'd recommend looking into the new geonode based hair system.

If you copy paste the settings, then they’ll all be linked with the same snout of particles and whatnot. If you try to edit one part, it’ll apply to the rest of the body. Not sure if there’s a way to fix this, but that’s what I know.

You might have to go into edit mode and flip the normals, they might be inverted
