Thanks so much for this video! I just installed this on my '07 Escalade ESV and the video helped a lot. My biggest problem was getting everything back in with the extra wiring behind it. Once again, thanks so much!

I tried to push the extra wiring down/back with a long screw driver while another person was trying to slide it in. I got it as best as I could and then slowly screwed the bolts in to help snug it up.

Great vid CLS, the instructions indicate for factory peripheral such as satellite radio, rear seat entertainment, and a CD changer that you have to connect the blue and red wire in the rear of the vehicle is this necessary?

Sorry I am late seeing the video, but it is an excellent explanation into the installation. I would like to install a microphone like what you installed and not the one provided. What was the mic you used and where did you find it? Thanks for a great tutorial.

Can I use this just for the audio streaming capability and continue to use the factory BT phone capabilities at the same time? I wouldn't see why not. The BT phone calls work even when I'm using XM. Also you can be connected to multiple BT devices at once on the phone. But im not a tech guy, didnt know if there was some dumb glitch that wouldnt allow it. Any advice would be great!

Great video! I have a 2011 gmc sierra with factory Bluetooth for phone calls but it doesn't work for streaming music. If I install this device do you know if I would be able to use my factory microphone?

Two questions Can you use the microphone that’s already above the drivers seat that’s for using onstar? And can you still use the DVD player

You have to set this to where it plays the music an then your truck does the calls but you lose the ability to say commands on your truck but it will still take the calls

Great video. Have you ever heard of the isimple module skipping while playing music using Bluetooth from iPhone?

Yes but have not experienced any of these issues myself. As with alot of electronics like this module 100% compatibility with different phones is unlikely unfortunately.

I know it was already asked but has anyone found a way to keep the stock mic installed and use it? I just bought a 2008 Cadillac sts with everything except streaming music.. another question since yall got the mods down, does anyone have any suggestions on how to (and or which mod) add HDMI port where the RCA ports are? And change my cigarette lighter charger to USB chargers without having to rewire all kinds of stuff? Thanks any suggestions are welcome

Hello, I installed it on my Escalade 2008 and the stereo stopped switching on. It burnt the stereo fuse in the box (fuse 42). Any advice to why this has happened?

Do they offer a version of this that doesn't affect the OEM bluetooth calling? My '14 Escalade has BT calling already but I'd like to add BT audio.

it doesnt effect factory phone bluetooth, if ur phone supports multiple bluetooth pairings u can set one for media and the other for phone only. my android works this way atleast. i have this setup and it works

Can you connect ISimple through the Onstar Module?

How did you get it to fit bring the radio?

Do you connect anything to xm module so that the isimple isgm751 and isimple bt21 can work?

I now have a new iPhone & I can’t find car connect in my Bluetooth pairing. How to connect 2nd phone?..you just explained @02:30 but I’m still not seeing it on my phone’s Bluetooth queue

I have a 2008 CTS. anyone know for sure if it works or not in it? I know it’s not listed on there but it may work. Also. Does it show all song information on screen from apps like Spotify?

I noticed that the stock Mic in the vehicle would be replaced. Is there anyway to keep the Mic that comes eqipped with the vehicle?

Its tied in with on star. It can be used but you would have to splice into the mic wires.

I have On-Star capabilities but I do not use it. I use the Mic for phone calls only. I would Love to stream my music through the stock radio on my android.

What mic did you purchase?

Does anyone know if it sounds really clear or staticky I been trying to use a few Bluetooth devices n they all sound very static

So I'm guessing this won't allow Bluetooth stuff like Google Maps navigation talk over audio that's already playing via FM/XM?

Why doesn’t it show that it will work with my 07CTS? And all I listen to in my car is my SiriusXM channels, but I lose the ability to have my SiriusXM radio stations?

When I went to hook this up, i noticed there was a lock pick gen 3 installed, i didnt know this would not work with lock pick so i hooked it up anyway, it did work but my back lights on the radio do not work anymore, i didnt un hook the isimple yet, any tips would be appreciated

Lock Pick manufactures told me that Isimple is not compatible with lock pick devices some functions may work but it wont work properly unfortunately .

it connects perfectly with the Bluetooth, all calls sound great, its just the back lights don't work, maybe that's the hiccup that dosent work, i will un hook it then see, i will keep you posted, thank you. otherwise i am pleased with the product!!

Mohammed Mourd This is better but it's not compatible with other devices like LockPick.

Why does it not seem easily possible to put Bluetooth in a Cadillac CTS an 07 model, But it seems easy enough to do for any other version of GM or Cadillac?? Why is it so hard to do in the 2007 CTS models?? This makes no sense to me!

Allinone OK thanks have a situation here hope with you experience can help me I change my battery on 08 then my radio was not working like no power all black out check the fuses were OK I remove the radio find out a lock pick unplugged as well and when I connect everything it works but camera when I'm in reverse what do you think its the problem thanks for you help appreciate your time 08 chevy avalanche ltz original radio CD,DVD,GPS

Have you learned how to operate the lockpick? On the the lockpick menu the reverse camera might be turned off. Here is some instructions for lockpick www.coastaletech.com/media/GMX560%20Instructions.pdf I have a lockpick in mine and use it everyday keep in mind that Isimple and lockpick will not work together but bluestar will work with lock pick..
