Sadly our Churches in South Africa have become little evil seeds of Hillsong, Bethel and Elevation. At least in my neighborhood. I have no car, so can't travel far. I come you youtube for sermons. Today was a really bad day. Oh, but I thank the Holy Spirit for pointing me in your direction. Turns out all I needed was a little TLC...straight from our Father's Word. NOT from this fallen world. Thank you, my brother in Christ, for allowing our Lord Jesus to work through you.

This is a great sermon that needs to be heard, considered, and absorbed by todays generation of born again believers. We have been called to preach the gospel and not compromise our calling. God is mighty to save and we don't need to worry about "sprucing" up the gospel, or making it more appealing. It's fine just the way it is. Those who have ears, will hear the Gospel message. Amen!

😮 I just heard about her music... I'm a new Christian, and it's surprising how many Christians keep trying to pull me from the Bible with their favorite pastors, prophecy channels, music, etc... I thank the Holy Spirit for guiding me away from all of it, because they are all either prosperity gospels or patriotism channels. Also, why do so many Bible studies consist of reading a book that's not the Bible? It's a book written by men with some scripture sprinkled in... Not to slam anyone, but it's kind of scary to see all of this. Like, all the stuff God pulled me away from is in the church lol. You can't get away from "it's our Biblical duty to vote like conservatives" (it's not) or "God has a wonderful plan for your life" (try telling that to a homeless person). Could it mean some Christians have been saved, but they don't know WHY they were saved or what they were saved from? 🙁

@@judylloyd7901 I don’t necessarily see it as self promotion, it’s not like they are promoting their channel or ministry. Their public declaration seems more of like an expression of how they feel and I resonate with that and other people probably do too, which is why there are upvotes. I feel the same way in the sense that I would want to be so low as anonymous to glorify God. Minnie is probably not even their real name.

There are good preachers in every area, you just have to look for them. It's ironic that the Church that started the reformation, is the furthest from God today. Many Lutheran churches preach a liberal, AKA false Gospel. As I told a buddy, (and I'm allowed to say as a former Mormon) Liberal Christians are less Christian than Mormons.

I love Voddie's uncompromising, unashamed-of-the-Gospel message. His boldness is so desperately needed today in a world that grows ungrateful, unloving, angrier, violent, darker, despises the truth because it does not conform to their selfish ideals. That girl at 41:25... I really wish she had sorted out our gum/candy, eye-rolling, clothes, hair, coolness, nap time etc before gracing us with her busy self-absorbed presence. What a disgraceful way to behave after a moving sermon and during Voddie's closing prayer. Like the Apostle Paul, my spirit is provoked!

Compromising confused people instead of saving them. It is a shame that many Christian try to put God and his word to people level instead of taking them up.

He may be in Zambia now, but we will claim him for the rest of his days as a Texan. Thank Christ for this bold, unapologetic, unyielding Disciple of the Lord Jesus.

I agree that we shouldn't imitate the world. We need to be a light, salty. But Paul seemed to change with the wind. 19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
