    yeetster joe ooh you should try playing ping pong then. Longer arms=longer reach=less energy used running around trying to get shots back, though it does depend of play style. My reach is long but I have good cardio, really fast feet, not so fast shots but good controls so I basically don’t lose the ball. My play style is just being able to hit the ball back from pretty much anywhere and I wait for my opponent to make a mistake, I don’t instigate the power shots. But long arms are good for fast shots and it’s easier to reach shots that are close to the net, or really far off to the side.

    This kid is unbelievable probably the most impressive athletic performance I’ve ever seen from someone under 10. He has such an incredible disadvantage being so short and his margin for error just from the angle of attack is so much tighter than for an adult. I can’t believe I would get destroyed by a nine-year-old in any sport or athletic event but I wouldn’t score a point off him

    As a real tennis player and no history with table tennis, i have seen some of these videos and never understood why his competition doesn't just give him drop shots when he backs up 5 feet behind the table in a defensive reaction They just keep powering the ball back to him. This kid actually used his brain and switched up speeds and techniques unlike the adults.

  • @MetalMinded2011

    @MetalMinded2011

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@EL-em3mn It's risky. There is often a lot of spin in those high balls so placing them precisely behind the net is not easy. Quite often the attempt becomes an invitation to the defending player to kill it. Typically it's more secure to wear the opponent down, keep him at distance and wait for the possibility to finish it off.

    Alright, I don't know much about table tennis since I play normal tennis with my team, but I can tell you having such a short court in only a table would be really nerve wracking. Like holly cow your reaction time must be so quick, if I was playing I would most likely break my ankle from moving too much!!😂 P.s: It was awsome seeing the child play a full grown man(I was going for adam to win btw)

    You can tell when Adam is trying to set up for the snake bite. You can say that he's telegraphing his intent. What's amazing is in the last game Toa picked up on it and developed a simple counter pulling Adam out of the the set up leaving Adam in a bit of a pickle. I love watching Toa play.
