I thought the high ceiling would even things out, but her offense is unstoppable. And as I mentioned below, her defensive skills are more than adequate to support her offensive onslaught. It was impressive. Of course, there's no better teacher than a student, so the fact that she's a coach was no small factor here.

Her flat, slapping smashes, almost underspin, brutalized Adam's lobs. Impressive how consistent she was with that style of smashing.

Adam, I don't even like ping pong, but I watch your channel because you can somehow play a fairly competitive game while being super super positive. The world could use more of that attitude, or at least I know I could!

Anastasiia's block defense is unbelievable. When even Adam can't return her power smashes you know how much speed they have. Great game.

She just slaps the pong flat with the racquet. It's very difficult to master and also counter that. 👏🏼

I like very much how she keeps ball speed with her very short in movement but effective backhand. Every battle of speedy backhands ended always in Adam having to change to a lob and being put into defensive. First point of third set is very significative.

I wish you guys play again! Your matches are very instrutive :) Anastasiia is very solid on her style. Amazing game!

When she varied her shot angles it really helped. Several excellent down the line shots just caught him flat. Looked like she had learned that his backhand defense, especially when far back, is weaker. Came pretty close to picking up a couple of Adam's net hits also. Domination.

I watched Mima Ito play (live) last weekend at an event (in Shibata-Shi, Niigata Prefecture, Japan), and I can say that anyone has a chance if they also have some good tricky serves. Sadly (as a fan), she lost.

@@josepinchero Not sure if she's still actively playing for rating, but I remember it was hovering around 2400 a while back. As for Adam, however, he's one of the few players in the world that defies ratings. 😆

Adam plays mostly defensive, Anastasiia plays more complete, balanced between offensive and defensive. Looking forward to your next match!

Right. If Adam should be a more complete player he must sometimes continue attacking and not just back off and play long loops, this is not serious.

Maybe make a post on your own feed mate, you'd get better traction.

That was just a solid showing for Anastasiia. The snake bites weren't biting like normal and Anastasiia didn't have to move too much, so she could set up and make almost any shot she wanted. You can do this Adam!

WOW WOW WOW! That was impressive and she played very well prepared, smoother and well-aimed than in the first battle. Adam had just no chance at all... maybe if the match would be 4/7, because he kind of get to know her playing a bit better in G2 and G3

The percentage of lob wins are usually low its entertaining though. Once you're driven back unless you're Xin Xu your chances are minimal of winning the point against seasoned players. The snake was not having an affect on her sizing up balls for slams. Adam did an admirable job to make each individual game competitive. Though the historical archives will document Ana 3 Adam 0 Nil Love. Next Year 27k likes at this point.

To be honest Adam, your biggest weakest is that you don't attack with your backhand at all, even when it's an opportunity ball. If you can make a good backhand loop and drive u will be on another level.
