Disagree respectfully. Gilbert Gottfried is jewier than Rabbi Nachtman.
It’s the blessing that we say over the Torah reading every monday and Thursday and Saturday or holiday or some special days. It means... We bless god who is blessed and the congregation replies Blessed is the god that is blessed forever. Blessed are you god king of the world that he chose us from all the nations and gave us the Bible. Blessed are you god who gave us the Bible.

Birkat Hatorah is a great blessing, but we need to change that god-awful melody.
If morim (teachers) would have made a reasonable effort in explaining the MEANING of a prayer and the context, perhaps Stern could have been a better Jew (?). No meaning: no sense.
