@@novili7436 Honnold is a chill dude and a great ambassador for the sport. However, he never was one of the best climbers in the world and just because something is scary doesn‘t mean it‘s more difficult. I‘m an avid climber myself and imho free soloing is the dumbest thing you could do. I wouldn‘t even climb without a helmet. mountains are dangerous and unpredictable. one falling rock and you‘re dead.

Impossible to compare as long as they dont climb same thing. Janja is great and way better than all other women inside bouldering female athlete but that does not mean she is at the top of everybody. There is absolute great women performing outside routes, they just not doing competition, hard to compare. It could be very great to see Janja performing inside bouldering with men, this could give a good comparison, at least for bouldering

For me smith should your first name and jane is last. Janja climbing is completely different, she does speed climb and have practice the same route over and over with a rope so theres no fear in falling

The hardest route on El Cap is the Dawn Wall, it took Tommy Caldwell years of practice before him and Kevin spent 19 full days climbing the route. Adam did the same route with a few weeks prep and sent it in 9 days. Alex Honnold himself will tell you Ondra is MUCH better.

Adam ondra, established the hardest route in 2017 called Silence with grade 9c. The best climber in the world.

@@ZX235w3 Far from best boulderer lol, he's got 4 V16s outdoors, many more V15 boulders, which puts him among the very best specialized boulderers without even trying too hard in the discipline, if he really wanted he could be at the top of the ladder in bouldering. And bouldering is climbing by the way, so what are you even talking about..

@@TheGermanTreeFreeClimberTGTFC there is no reason to consider him the best. He isn't the best boulderer, he isn't the best lead climber. Not to mention speed and combined. He is good on the rocks but not a single top climber tried his one hard non-repeated route silence. Probably even Stefano is stronger than him in lead considering the effort they both put in perfecto Mundo and Change whilst Stefano sent Perfecto Mundo and needed way less time for Change. He is like a grandma trying to be hip acting like all these conditions are super important and then comes Megos and gives a fuck about conditions and is better anyways lol
