I am so glad to see the world has finally evolved to the point that the amazing and off-the-hook artistry of two guys performing together is finally here. What a beautiful performance. Something for all of time, we only could imagine because it was kept taboo. It couldn't be framed more appropriately than with the golden voice of Adam Lambert. Thank GOD this happened in my lifetime.

Nikita is lost in the dance.. where he should be..

For me this honours this song perfectly. It was written by Noel Coward a gay man about an unrequited crush he had on a straight man he knew in his social circle. Also dances like the Argentine Tango were originally danced by men in Buenos Aires in the 1920s years before those dances hit the mainstream. It was like the past and the present melded together in a perfect moment. An openly gay man singing a song written by a gay man whilst two men dance in a style similar to an Argentine Tango. Perfection.

No he wasn't openly gay..he always refused to address it because he didn't think it was classy to share such things in public. It was however known by most. But not is not the same thing. Its more like with many popstars everybody knew they were gay even before they came out. Adam Lambert would be an example of an openly gay artist..Noel Coward not.

There was Johannes and Kai last year with the Taylor Swift medley, but this is indeed one of the few instances.

I watched the recent video of Nikita Kuzmin dancing with Vito Coppola. I was so impressed with Nikita's performance that I watched a series of videos with him dancing with female partners. Then I came across this one. Whilst it seems from the online gossip magazines that Nikita is in a relationship with a woman and presumedly straight, he seems to come alive and have some kind of extra magic when he is dancing with a male partner. Perhaps, being straight, it is because he puts a bit more effort into the act or simply because he enjoys the additional challenge of the acting aspect as well. I don't know what it might be, but whatever it is, this man is exceptionally talented.

Nikita is one of the most exciting Strictly dancers. He is intuitive and elegant, and his hands are in a class of their own. Exquisite.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

First heard this as the intro to the Noel Coward documentary 'Mad About The Boy' and loved the song the first time I heard it.

Carlos and Nikita hot damn!!!! Absolutely fabulous. Love this so much.

Most talented male voice in my lifetime!

Really great to see Nikita getting some powerful and intense choreo this year that shows off how talented he is! I feel like we've never really seen that from him before so love that for him!

Perfection in every way! Gorgeous Adam Lambert and the dancers 👏👏👏. Great choreography! This beautiful torch song was written 1932 by gay artist Noel Coward who haven't been able at his time to sing it by himself as a queer love song. So I even more enjoy all the sultry queerness of this performance!

When I went to college in San Francisco in the 50s, I was given a record album entitled: Mad about the Boy. It had all gay men songs on it. I wish I had it still today. Are you familiar with the album?

Every element of this performance was pure perfection. Carlos and Nikita were sexy and powerful and Adams singing was just fabulous!

Wow! I was distracted between Adam's singing and the dancers. Now that was art.

I agree. The way Adam so beautifully and skillfully works and weaves his voice through the lyrics is just exquisite to listen to. The notes flow so freely, easily, and smoothly from one to the next. That’s one of the reasons I’ve always loved his voice and singing. An unbelievable talent.🤗

So glad I found this. Adam's voice from the beginning of American Idol has mesmerized me. This cover is done in a way that only he could do and it is breathtaking. He's a gorgeous man to look at as well. The dancers and everything to do with this production was amazing.

Just watched that 3 times in a row, chills every single time: Adam's vocals are AMAZING, and the dancing of Carlos and Nikita just EXQUISITE🤩 The quality of movement, plus that they are not defining who's leading ad following...they just dance together like one, LOVE IT 💯

This just gorgeous all around, and Adam proves yet again why he is so often lauded as one of the great voices of his generation. I have to believe this performance meant the world to Adam on a personal level, not just a professional one - to be able to cover Noel Coward's timeless song as it was intended to be performed, by a male vocalist, accompanied by a beautiful, romantic dance by two men. This would not have happened when he first came on the scene in 2009.
