Adam Jones needs to be on your show WAY more often! As a Blue Jays fan I always wanted him in Toronto. At least we would get to go to Skydome "I shall never call it Rogers Center" and watch him live many times which was always a joy! Great Player and very well spoken when it comes to his Baseball Analysis. He should coach the White Sox maybe they can win a few more games!

Obviously the culture difference is the biggest change, but Japan has one time zone. The US has four. Play on the west coast on Sunday night, fly out by 7pm back east, arrive at 3am in New York for a game on Monday or Tuesday! Monday obviously would be tougher. I know the next day’s starter usually leaves early. So Yamamoto may fly out on Sunday morning, arriving in New York about 3pm and then gets ready for the start on Monday. So it will be an adjustment

Due to Nomo's influence, he is a big Dodgers fan and would love to pitch for the Dodgers. And with Ohtani, whom he respects, joining the team at the right time, Yamamoto is determined to become a Dodger. After that, it's just a matter of money.

Late in the video Adam brings up Nomo as a Japanese MLB pioneer. I walked out of Nomo no-hitting the O’s years ago. Lots of walks, slow game, and I had promised a student musical group that I would coach them that night if their regular coach was a no-show. So the “No Show” made me leave a Nomo No hitter, but at least it wasn’t a Nomo No-No!
