Assalamualaikum from Singapore. It's good that he's able to focus doing his worksheet. Perhaps if next time not to have many people around him when he's doing his workbook, but to have only one person to guide him e.g mother or daddy with less prompts. Let him do his workbook indepedently with less distractions around him. Also reward him for his work done e.g. every single page or few pages e.g. praisal or smiley face or stars. So that he be encouraged to do his work progressively. As for his hand keeps holding on the paper or cardboard is actually tactile, he needs that to regulate. InsyaAllah.

Agreed. Definitely helpful. My 7 years old autistic son improved immensely after 2 years of speech therapy. He is now able to comprehend and make simple sentence. If Adam is already undergoing therapy, keep it up. Regards.

Adam was going to early intervention until his pre teen thereafter he was difficult to manage by the school, hence dropped out..moreover adam Dad said there wasn't much improvement citing his severe autism ...
