It's not cringy at all . This generation should be in a sketch that points out how they use over-the-top phrases for subtle situations that aren't extreme at all. Have fun with the end of Western Civilization you bunch of dumb monkeys

I think people have started undermining oscar winning performance. Literally every decent acting I hear "oh its an oscar winning performance." Hey, I got news flash for you, its acting just acting. Actors are supposed to be convincing. Oscar winning performance usually mean they went above and beyond to perform that acting role. Just saying! Having said that Bill Hader is a good comedic actor.

I can’t get enough of this bit! This is Jonah Hill’s “David S Pumpkins”!

This is a top 10 sketch concept in the history of SNL.
I watched all of the Adam Grossman skits...Jonah Hill nails it every time, he doesn't have any problems with his lines, I think most of it is off the top of his head
@jacquelinemamahiggzhiggins2951
Жыл бұрын
Watch his eyes, he’s reading off cue cards on both sides of the stage. But that doesn’t take away from the insane talent he is in being able to deliver these lines with perfection. Seth Meyer had him as a guest on the show and they talked about how Jonah, Bill and him stayed up all night writing the sketch and practicing it and laughing.
One of the best recurrent characters in SNL history
Chardonay! Way to man up dad.
4:45 I like how Jonah could still maybe pass for a kid even after he stands up.

Interesting how Jonah Hill starts off unassured and builds into the juggernaut that Adam Grossman eventually becomes…never to look back.

Jonah is brilliant in this - especially with the Catskills influence.
This is like if Garfield could talk and everyone could hear and understand it.

I just saw Superbad and now watching this skit is even better!!
I'd love to see a skit starring Jonah Hill's Evan Grossman and Bill Hader's Hollywood character (from the James Franco roast).
The craziest thing about 2020 so far is that Adam Grossman is now a teenager.
