Adam Curry Defined MTV, Invented Podcasting, And Found God

Adam Curry first became a household name as an MTV VJ, but that was only the start of his nearly four-decade crusade to revolutionize media. Since childhood, he has been obsessed with using cutting-edge technology to improve the ways that humans communicate ideas, from building MTV’s first website to bringing Bitcoin micropayment to podcasting.
Adam’s career has always been about pushing boundaries, in more ways than one. He’s known for exploring some of the wildest conspiracy theories on his popular podcast “No Agenda,” but recently he’s been diving into a new theory - faith in God. Adam’s recent turn towards Christianity has brought a profound layer to his already rich tapestry of experiences. Join me as I unravel the fascinating intersections of media, innovation, and faith in my conversation with Adam Curry.

I'm really enjoying this interview. I'm a 73-year-old female geek (so 15 years older than Adam Curry). I lived in the Boston area when I was in my mid 30s, and back then I was part of a small contingent of Boston-area geeks who were the first people to get on the Internet. I remember going to a workshop at Framingham State College during which we all were taught how to use DOS commands to access the Internet. I was the first person I knew to have a dial-up modem in my home. It was a very exciting time for me and my fellow nerds.

As a Dutch person learning Adam Curry has become religious and saying things like "learn to live in christ" is hysterical and shows why religion is an absolute joke and makes people say the dumbest things. This guy should know better at his age then to not become one of these celebrities that "finds" god later on in life. And for the love of god *pun intended* can people who have no actual expertise on autism stop talking like they're an expert on it just because someone in their family or someone they know has it. Stop telling people that looking at an LCD or OLED screen literally changes how a little kid's brain functions. People are born with autism unlike being religious which is what a person does voluntarily in life usually. Some get indoctrinated with the stuff willingly or unwillingly and others think religion works like therapy and usually can't shut the fuck up about it because they truly believe everyone needs it in their life, including their spouse or kids. Believing in god is like believing in gnomes. No one has ever seen it or has proof of it and yet Adam thinks jesus did all those thing that are written in the bible but would tell you that the only gnome he ever saw was David in the children books and/or from the old cartoon that used to air on Dutch TV when he was still with Patricia Paay

I truly believe screens at a young age can influence the brain of toddlers. 100% Blue light on adult retinas are even of some influences. Let’s get real. And Adam can believe or turn to God whenever he wants. Doesn’t bother me. Even if I don’t believe the same or follow. Seems like a good dude to me.
