Christian Cage is one of the best ever! He was held back so much in his career and there was a time where we didn't know if he'll ever wrestle again! Yet he's still one of the absolute best in the world on the mic and in the ring! He deserves a run as the AEW Champ! GOAT heel! 🐐

This was a great promo. Christian all these years was held back because he didn’t have Edge’s personality or style but it was because they couldn’t figure out how to play him right. Now on AEW Christian is a megastar and while yes I want to see them team up together idk if Christian is willing to drop his heel status to give fans that one more time dream match

WWE 4x Intercontinental Champion 2x World Heavyweight Champion 9x Tage Team Champion Hardcore Champion European Champion Light Heavyweight Champion How exactly is that WWE resume "held back"? By "held back" you also mean not a draw as a champion, right? Like it or not, this business is about money and apparently he didn't make enough money. You want to see two 50 year old men team up, why? In hopes of recapturing some nostalgia? You're not going to get anything remotely close to Dudleys, Hardys, and Edge/Christian, so why even bother fantasizing about a subpar match? Don't get me wrong--I love both Edge and Christian but I'm not dumb enough to think it's 1999 and either could even come close to that.

Agreed...I think we will get it down the line when the right story is told. Right how he's locked in at the peak of his heel run, gonna help get Nick Wayne more over and then we will see. I want them to tag again as well but I would slow cook that for an even bigger pop later. No need to rush nostalgia that will always be there.

I can see it in Christian Cage's face, he knows everything that Edge said is true, and he is hungry to team with Edge again, and when he said that to Edge that was actually his way of telling Edge he wants to but the time is not right yet, we have to play this out before we can team up.

Christian ain't in Adam's shadow anymore. The best god damm segment.

I love this. "Edge" has always been the "star" of this tandem. He had the more successful solo career, but has gone stale over the past couple years, doing whatever he could to become relevant again, even taking Gangrels entrance gimick....and in turn, stealing HIS chance at a comeback. Christian finally has made it on his own and is thriving, and "Edge", ever the spotlight leech wants the Christian rub now. Christian is right, GFY. Lol

Seeing Sting and Edge shake hands was probably the greatest moment of my wrestling life.

Yeah he's been using My Last Breath since his time on Impact back in the late 2000s. Nice to see him keep that theme here just as Edge (Adam) did with Metalingus. 😊

AEW fans been chanting “Edge is better” for so long at Christian. Naturally he’d get annoyed to see Edge. XD

In there career as a tag team in the WWE 20 year's ago edge always carried Christian , in the company of icons like Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Sting, the undertaker.
