Man, you have one of THE best reactions to this song. You completely understood the messaging and point. Adam was making a social commentary about what he has seen and heard his whole life. He was showing us the double standards on both sides, he was showing that behaviors and language have been normalized, and we have been socially conditioned to react to certain things. The fact people are triggered by certain aspects of the song, completely confirms what he is talking about in the song. I love the fact you noticed right away that he was talking about stereotypes being perpetuated, and he was trying to explain that the folks in our communities that work hard to elevate their own lives/situation, teach their kids right, and be present, will break the cycle. Your synopsis was spot on, and I am glad I chose to watch. Well done dude!

I’m not a white rapper, I’m a metal head who grew up with hip hop and I grew up around black folk. We comin together. I stand with all my black folk.

I will say as a man who grew up hunting and living in the woods and now owning 150 acres, it is ALWAYS a SURREAL experience taking an animal down. Because i understand i could have let it live. BUT, i also need to feed my family because i don't buy meats from the store due to the chemicals in them. So that's where the term "gamey meat" came from because that's how meat that isn't "polluted" with a bunch of unnatural stuff SHOULD TASTE LIKE! But i respect every single animal I've ever taken from the time i took my first buck at 6 to now at 33 and taking my nephew to hunt!

Its not been like that since the mid 90's all the way till now. Yes racism is still around, but NO WERE near what they are saying it is. Both Adam and Tom are called racists by the far left. I have never heard Tom say anything remotely racist. (I am bi-racial BTW, not that it matters). When I first heard this song I had to stop, go read the lyrics and then I realized he was showing stereotypes. I can't say this song is him being racist but him exposing the racism that exists. Timing and delivery. Tom and Adam are very good at leading a beat. There are so many who fall behind the beat. Adam could use this song as a masterclass on leading the beat. The dude was a Chicago battle rapper. He has respect in the hoods for his flow.
