100W peak, the test showed the rms (50w at 3 ohms)

100Watt max, yet 49W @2.67Ohm? how does that match? even if RMS is half "max" I could just yell into the wires and get better results

A higher adapter should make it put out more power

Logic says so, but in this case I think it would be very minimal to use a 24v vs 19v input. I'm tempted to try it in my spare time to see, but 5v isn't going to help this make 45% more power.

Im not into the home audio stuff at all but my take away from this is much like car audio, if it says Max or Peak power its probably half of that. Some of the cheap brands it might be 25% of Max or Peak.

Their newest amp says RMS instead of max, it's already been done by another channel though and I haven't had a chance to check out the results, probably will today. Usually from what I've seen out of home audio, it's grossly over rated.

They use a minimum of a 48 V adapter on it. The power increases substantially.

Both the user manual and the Fosi website show 12-24v. I would not double their maximum.

My thoughts too. I do already have a PC with some home built bookshelfs I power from a DIY parts express 2ch, I might add a small Dayton classic and this amp just to put it to use.

Not very powerful. If you want a good house amplifier get a car amplifier and hook it to a car battery and a plug in battery charger.

I've actually got some old videos using INuke amps and they worked great for serious power.

I have a Dayton Audio SP1000 and I paid $150 for it slightly used. It’s a beast. I have it on a Sundown SA 15” and it slams! I would love to know how much it really puts out!

@@bradgilpin9740 I think I have a few! Might only be SP500s though, but hey, I'll give em a run.

@@Facekicker Hell yea man I love home audio as much as car audio. Not that it matters but I have the SA1000 not the SP like I said earlier. I would definitely appreciate you running them. 🙏
