The Specialty Medicine Awareness Committee (SMAC) was formed to help bring awareness of the value of veterinary speciality medicine to the general public. In this installment of the 50th anniversary video series, we hear from Brina Lopez, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (LAIM) and Zack Wright, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) discussing their roles and the work that the committee has done to help contribute to the growth of the ACVIM and the veterinary specialty profession as a whole.
