Wonderful pipe and drum band. Different in style to the Irish and Scottish War Pipes bands. The ladies are so elegant and the men’s capes are very smart.

Gaita tradicional?? Con 3 roncos imitación a las escocesas y con percusión tradicional escocesa??? Disculpa serán banda de gaitas pero no tradicional. Y lo digo con todo el respeto del mundo, pero esto no es tradicional, de hecho le hace mucho daño al folclore realmente tradicional.

Flippin brilliant, wonderful music and fantastic (I presume) traditional clothes.

Bravo! Pipes with Spanish fire. Glory to Spain. The Pipes have a beautiful back note of Arab tonal sound. They are bloody point on; when the drum Major brings that Nave crown up and signals a cut off; she's not shitting around. Those pipes cut to dead air, clean. Ensemble is very good.

An extremely good Galician band playing traditional tunes on Galician pipes which are differently tuned than Scottish pipes Its a pity the ignorant are making cements on what they don't know or take the time to understand.

Mi madre me enseñó amar a Galicia, mi madre era Ourensana de Arnoia Seca, se fue dw pequeña para nunca mas volver, y Argentina me abrio las puertas a mis abuelos y a ella, cuanta morriña me trae todo esto, ya mamá no esta más en este plano, yo fui alguna vez un integrante de cuerpo de baile y gaitas en Argentina, y Galicia se siente en el alma a pesar de estar en el fin del mundo al otro lado del Atlántico... Saudos desde a quinta provincia, Lugo, A Coruña, Pontevedra Ourense e Bos Aires. VIVA GALICIA E VIVA A NOSA TERRA!!!

it would have been nice to get more information, does not matter the language, anyone with a half god translation in the computer can do it for himself. very few if any have ever heard or seen such bagpipes, those kinds of - uniforms -, or heard that kind of music.

O primeiro, respetos e noranoa aos músicos, que son os que menos culpa teñen. Pero sí quixera saber qué sentido ten financiar con cartos públicos unha banda que ignora a tradición galega para tomar prestada a doutros lares: redobles militares, a tontería do bastón de mando, percusionistas facendo malabarismos coas mazas, exclusión de pandeiretas, e en resumo unha estética tomada das bandas militares escocesas. Calquera banda é moi libre de facer o que queira por suposto, pero ao meu entender, cando falamos de financiacion pública, os promotores disto non deberían estar enchendo os petos con semellante entroidada e atropelo á tradición musical galega dos últimos 200 anos.

@@jesusmzamaMy money is on you. I’ve played Highland, Border and Smallpipes semi pro and amateur for 35 years. I have also had my hands on Galician pipes and they are not like Scottish pies of any sort. The drones are fundamentally different I size, shape and the chanter hole spacing felt very different. Playing Highland alongside Galician, there was a definite tonal difference. Nobody there believed they were the same. Maybe they come from a common stock way back. It seemed a lot easier to bend some notes as I recall.. Smashing video though, always good to have musical friends and relatives.

Para disfraces los de la cerveza que hacéis por hay,estos son trajes tradicionales,se que es como explicarselo a una pared, pero hay queda.

Pena que no défilan bien , siempre muy separados , no hacen piña en fila de a cuetro para la veillera del consulton , son muy Buenos gaiteros . Yo pienso que tendrian que cambiar de repertorio, y escojer mélodies mas bonitas.
