What a shortest sermon expanded.
MacArthur wrote, "Felix was living with a woman he had lured away from her husband, Felix obviously lacked righteousness and self control. The realization that he faced judgment alarmed him, and he hastily dismissed Paul." Instead of accepting conviction and repenting Felix chose judgement.
