Phylicia Rashad is the best actress period... she has it all... I wish we could have seen her in more action-dramas but her work stands alone... I love hearing her do interviews seeing her perspectives and she's a joy to watch.

I feel so privileged to have been a young person witnessing the greatness of that show every Thursday night at 8pm. Pure genius. Loved it then and now.

That 'OL SETTLER' movie was something else... just at the end it was sad and I wish the two of them could have been together... that guy 'Husband' was too stupid for his own good.

@@sddunlop Yeah nobody really notices this but there's not a mark you can check that she doesn't complete ... I'm glad she didn't go the slutty route in her acting career; she was so polished that she could say no because of her abilities - when you have the gold, you can always say no because you know your fundamentals - which never go away.... Oh yeah, I would be remiss if I didn't say, 'Wasted... Wasted... Wasted... Now you gettin' Nothin'!' HAHHAHA... I hope you don't take offense, Nikki Dee is one of my favorite rap artists of the early 90's.

@@sddunlop Well that's good... I'm of that era as well... Niki D was just like 1990 and 1991 but that's when hip-hop ended as far as I was concerned... you didn't miss anything... HAHAHA! Yeah, about Phylicia Rashad, I cannot believe a woman that has all that been married 3 times?... I was like, 'Maybe they couldn't keep her in the house?...' I mean when I found out she was married 3 times I was thinking there's something to that because brothas are not going to let a woman like that just go... either she was nuts or dirty or you couldn't tell her what to do... HAHAHA!!! There's always a downfall but hey, she's a great actress and she still carries Ahmad's name... by the way her daughter does a great job on 'Billions'... I was a huge 'A Differen't World' fan and loved the style of the show when I was coming up - huge part of my upbringing... Be good and stay that way. HAHA!

She is a beautiful woman and very articulate. I'm glad she spoke of her childhood and how her family and community did not allow segregation to hamper their livelihood.
