Excellent interview James,Danniella's story was one i followed in the media, now i finally know the story behind her coke abuse which gave me mixed emotions of extreme anger towards her abusers and heartbreak for her way of dealing with life to shut it out.

James, since you spoke about Brian Harvey in this and Daniella Westbrook came across very sincere about her thoughts on Brian Harvey (something I wouldn't normally say). Would you please now give Brian Harvey the opportunity to explain it from his own words instead of having other people involved to speak on his behalf? It's becoming beyond a joke now. Everyone wants to drop his name but nobody will interview him. Let the man speak! Also... Beware of Puddick. The guy is a nasty piece of work.

Just like to say listened to your post James and Danniella spoke from the heart , she is an amazing women her past history alone is unimaginable to me and she is so strong . She is an honest open human being she said she has to work so only revealed as much as she could , mentioning the red rooms in reference to Brian Harvey whom she supported 100 per cent Kuo dos to her spirit as I can only imagine what position she is in . We all know what this world is about ,don’t we??? The powerful are controlling us . Their disgusting and hateful and evil regimes are now being exposed . She was an engaging and immensely engaging personality. Thank you Danniella for being brave and sharing your life with us ❤️❤️❤️. James thank you I am grateful for you posting this and it’s great to see a fellow Scot doing so well . honesty is truly the best quality. Much love frae Fife 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It's so easy to judge someone without really knowing their history and it is obvious that Danniella has suffered from an early age. This type of abuse very often paves the way for substance abuse. Danniella is very brave in being so open and honest about her life and I applaud her. May she find the peace, joy and happiness she so richly deserves.

It was like you were in the room with you both, felt her pain, I didn't know she had also been abused, OMG, after hearing her story I feel sad yet proud that she can sit with you comfortably & talk about her life in such an honest & emotional way. It takes a lot of courage to admit to yourself & other people the terrible paths you took. You do not interrupt and when you ask a question it actually brings something interesting as opposed to being nosy. I live in New Zealand, and loved Eastenders from the very first episode. Sam was an amazing character, loved her. Danniella is clearly a wonderful, real, honest person. She's risen above it all. Well done Danniella! Thanks James!

She was a vulnerable child in a scary industry the drugs probably helped blur the horror of the trauma she suffered puts a band aid on everything . This woman has courage to tell her story ( which helps millions realize the devastation of drugs ) . She is extremely courageous a survivor highly powerful her story and praise god she has found recovery .

I’ve always said people need to walk in others shoes before they judge, Danniella is such a lovely individual and like many of us she has been used and abused. Fair play to her she has a wonderful family and some amazing friends who have not only helped her but stood by her. I wish her all the best and for good things to continue to come for her. Well done James and Danniella x

Ive got so much respect for Daniella & have had for a long time. Shes honest & truthful about her struggles and shes been through so much. She doesnt sugar-coat anything, tells it how it is & gives reasons for her struggles, not excuses. She gets far too much negativity. Thank you James for not only being so respectful & kind to her but also that cuddle was very much needed 🥰❤

Great interview with Daniella, and very well handled by James. She has been damaged and is still vulnerable, and resilient. I hope she don't go overboard with the therapy, because Daniella has a lot of information which has not yet been fully processed. She is open and honest but still fragile. She is staying clean so she is not that vulnerable. What a lovely woman she is.

This actually made me change my opinion of Danielle. I'm so proud of her now as you can see how damaged she became due to the abuse she suffered. I wish her the very best for the future.

I worked with Daniellia around age 8 in a studio in London, selling something or other in an ad. I did loads of work for Young'uns around that time including a tiny part in Eastenders, dozens of adverts, a couple of international films, a school thing for German students in Birmingham, and magazine shots. I travelled to Italy several times for a film, and attended hundreds of auditions every year from age 3 to 13. To say it had no effect on you is an massive understatement, it affects your life to the core. I feel so sorry for Danielle, as her journey was messed up so early in her career. I see great potential still and would love to see her grace our screens again 💔
