He's been in a lot of different movies and some TV stuff. He's one of those guys who's just a really really good actor, and also just a really really good person.. he's done so much for Down syndrome the Special Olympics

This man is seriously an amazing actor. Absolutely kills it in everything I've seen him in.

His great acting is one thing, his inspirational, truly admirable service to the disabled children's community is what sets him apart from all of his peers. Hollywood takes a far backseat to his duties as father and caring human, so bravo for that.

His face when Dale Dye gives him 2nd platoon in Platoon is priceless!

Actually a REALLY good Charlie Sheen story…. Considering what we know about Charlie.

I do not think this will ever get to you but I saw your movie in the 1980s and in the mid-1990s I listed in the military and was stationed overseas and had the opportunity to be a part of the Special Olympics and I always remembered what you said about special needs kids and try to help them as much as I could after my deployment to the Balkans

@ Ah okay I see what you mean. So we were in White's Tavern for a mate's birthday. It was early June and really warm. Upstairs is packed. I'm chatting with my mate and I see this face coming towards me with a group of guys. Pushing through. My mate sees this as well. Just as he comes through I stick out my hand and shake his. "John McGinley. How's the form?" (I think I might have said John McGarry so there you go) He says "Great. Just been up the coast playing golf". I looked up the guys he was who said something about being his cousins. "So what are you doing now?" "Going to the bar for a beer?". He made that ducking and pushing gesture, pointing through the crowd, like doing the breast stroke. " Well good luck" I said "It's five deep. You might have a chance" He just smiled that big smile and there were off past me into the glue of people. My mate just turned to me and laughed saying "Of all the things. And you just stick your hand out cool as a cucumber like you've known him for years". He gave off that kind of vibe. I thought I'd treat him like a person. Which he seemed to appreciate. Although he was more concerned with the beer.

"I am a michael bolton fan. I celebrate his entire catalog."
