He’s 77? Geez, I’m only 62 and I kinda look like the Crypt-keeper from the tv show nowadays, ahahahaha! 😂

Side note: It took 11 years to finish the tattoo on his chest by the same guy. He started it when they were cell mates, the guy went to another prison, Danny meets up with him again and the guy finished it. Danny said that on the Howard Stern Show, best interview ever.

I met Danny Trejo and I can agree he is a amazing guy, litterly. He is extremely respectful and we even talked about life events. When I told him about mine he actually broke down because of how hard it was for me and I have autism. It was amazing to talk to him and that was like the best moment of my life. I met him in Las Vegas NV. He goes there often.

Mr. Trejo has my total respect. He started out with a very rough time in his youth and he turned it around. Not many human beings could do that! I will be purchasing the book!

I love his story of redemption. It’s truly inspiring and proves that there are those who are given a second chance and will make the most of life.

I will tell you as a recovering addict myself there is nothing more freeing then break the chains of addiction that strangle your soul. Danny Trejo God bless you

Gigi, I do not care that I do not know you, I am proud of you. So damn proud.. Recovery is hard. I too am an addict. 12 years clean and its the best feeling in the world.

You guys are your own personal superheroes. You found the strength and courage to break free from drugs and save your own lives.

danny trejo such a underrated actor, he really brings life to movies, makes movies feels alive when you watch it

He's one of the most incredible person ever. I like how he was able to rebuild his life and go on to be a famous actor and mentor to young kids. Plus he owns 8 restaurants.

His laughter truly comes from his heart.

Such humble man!! You can tell on his voice, the way he talks and the way he’s face expression is.

I met Danny Trejo in here in Austin, Texas when he was filming Machete. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. We talked for like an hour and told him my struggle with addiction to cocaine. He actually listened, he has total compassion.

Just heard his talk on WTF podcast. Great respect for turning his life around and trying to be a good human being.

I love the fact that inside his home looks so ordinary and not full of fancy furniture. Everything that made him the man he is today, is what he cherishes.

"Times are changing. Ladies, they can do stuff now" 🤣 Glad he got his 2nd chance at life. He's become a great actor.

I am currently ready his book, and a couple of pages in I was already crying. Life is so hard at times and I am so grateful to hear that there is a light at the end. Good times. Thank you.

Fun fact: Trejo knew and was also a friend of the individual or individuals who started La Eme in prison otherwise known as the Mexican mafia.

I don't buy many books (I rent from the library), but I'm seriously thinking of buying his book. If he does a book tour, I'm definitely getting it.

Love him. I had the pleasure of visiting one of his restaurants when I was out in LA a few years ago.

When I see him I know the movie is going to be good.

I just read his memoir two months ago. Amazing book. I hope to meet him one day.

He is absolutely genuine and lovable.

Danny is the true legendary badass!

Danny's new book is a great read and explains how he got through a lot of life hurdles. It would be a good movie to show how one can get away from a bad life direction, even if you're in prison. He had many negative and positive mentors. Never give up.

I met him in 2003 in NYC outside of my job, Virgin Megastore. Got a pic with him. Super chill guy.

Iam going to buy his book just because to read his Stories,his Life and his Journey literally because Fate and God had other plans for him instead of a tombstone or getting killed he is an Awesome,Humble and Great human being that I can tell and he always mentions Jesus name in his interviews and for that I admire the guy he knows which he has to be thankful and greatful too that gave him a second chance,opportunity which is God that's who,he came from nothing,now hes Somebody a Successful,Blessed Mexican,Latino we are very Proud of him because hes Representing Mexico name up high to the highest level and I think they should really do a movie about him his early beginnings when he was locked up and after when he got out of prison that would be soooo Awesome and Cool.

His son did a documentary of his life called 'Inmate Number 1' that I actually rented on Cable. It was worth it. I've had Cable for a number of decades. I don't think I've rented more than 5 of anything on Cable. I'm too cheap. 😀

He’s not a bad guy, just misunderstood. I love both where he lays on the ‘prison floor’ and when he sits of the cruddy sofa covered in moving pads or horse blankets. I love that he’s so successful, and of course he enjoys that, but he’s keeping it real for himself. I wish I could get personal life guidance from him, but I’m not bad off enough I suppose.
