@Wlew Argusowy I thought Cold War was solid overall. Great campaign, great zombies gameplay minus the maps needing a little more to the theming, and the multiplayer was alright imo. Wasn't a perfect game, but I'd still say its the best out of the CoDs in the current cycle started from the MW reboot.

We have to stop buying their products so they actually listen. It’s sucks that the only way they can speak to us is with money and it’s absence.

Leave horrible one star reviews on call of duty mobile, if we get the ratings so low maybe they will listen. It’s sad but we have to.

So instead of Activision taking down websites that supply the cracked version of the games. They attack the mod? Big L on their part. The way I see it, if the base games are unplayable due to hackers able to hack your pc, I have absolutely no qualms with someone pirating the games. In fact, I would be surprised if someone pays for a broken game. Fix the games, then you deserve the money.

Pretty sure what you described is genuinely just a crime. Allowing people to use your game to access others while turning a blind eye and removing other options is genuinely just being an accomplice to those hacks.

So sad about this, wish that people could see and do what's right, and not what's easier. Playing bo3 as a kid changed my life and i am sure it has been very special to so many people... so, i really hope there is a way to save it.

Easier said than done unfortunately. Not to say it won’t happen. Just not super likely with how many casual people who buy the new game every year. Who don’t know this is even a thing going on right now; or won’t care because it doesn’t effect them. Ultimately theirs way more of those people than people like us who like going back to these older games on the PC. Though who knows, maybe it can be different this time.

activision won't let you kill teammates in hardcore but they can kill their one good creation. the client that would save their game series.

My friends and I have a quote. " The only thing that kills cod is cod itself." I can see bo2 plutonium going down next and I know it's a far stretch but if they stop custom zombies support then cod is truly gone.

It's Activision, they've been clowns since the mid 2010s.

All the companies that work for Activision that work on COD need to depart from Activision immediately I feel like. They need to come together and make their own company to where they actually don’t intend to do this kind of thing to the community. HI Jon and community. As an "oldhead" atari pong and COD fan. I'd like to vent and sympathize with you about your vid. The only thing we disagree on that you mentioned is the understanding that Activision and Treyarch and the alike DO have the money to support the security of their products despite working on new projects. At $70.00 US, X Worldwide sales, the cost of a designated support team for their products should be included. I think it's time consumers and profiteers of the COD community should start demanding a safe way to have their stakeholders play their products. Great job explaining the issue.

So no matter what, do not play any Cod from the past 3 years min.

I remember Fromsoft taking down the online functionality of Dark Souls 1 to 3 since they had to fix a exploit where players could take over another player's PC. It took them like 6 months to fix with Elden Ring coming out at the same time. Though they did fix them.

Activision is like, if you're playing old games for free then you aren't buying our new garbage.

At the end of the day, it's just gonna get worse. Activision is going to continue getting away with BS, because people still continue to buy their games... It's really on us.

I have been playing BO3 PC since the pandemic, I used to play on ps4 back in the day, and I didn't know I've been risking myself this whole time. Ive played lots of public zombie lobbies with no issue

It would be nice if old games with great communities like this one would turn into open source games after some time like 10 years, and then the players that want to fix the problem could just open pull requests!

I highly recommend them to not listen. Let them take it to court. Because there’s no profitability. And literally improved the security. I honestly say they have more leverage because Activision is neglecting the safety of their game. RATing is very very common in older cods.

Why can’t we form a class action lawsuit at this point? Seriously, they’re failing to maintain the security of the game and the community is willing and wants to…..

At this point, Activision should be sued if Activision cared about the community they would help stop these hackers and let the developers of the new program stay active and if it's because Activision wants more money why doesn't Activision just ask for a certain % of the profit the developers make from the new project since after all it is a video game Activision created in the first place

I personally believe this is happening just because atvi does want full focus on main current titles, they dont want old games to randomly blow up and drag poeple's attention as they are currently insecure about their current main game which is extremly mid

Sadly that wont ever happen. There will be these dumb players thinking that the next cod will be better when not realizing that Activision never cared. CoD is not even a game anymore, its literally a cash grab.

If Activision wants to stop piracy, why don’t they make the old games cheaper? It makes no sense why we’re spending the same amount of money on old games as we are new games. Same with DLC

When I'm in a "disappointment" competition and my opponent is anything made by Activision-Blizzard

I know I'm a bit late but it's important to clarify that BOIII (the BO3 Client) didn't receive a C&D. XLabs did. XLabs did promote Torrenting/Piracy at some point, and even BOIII requires the purchase of the game, because of the relationship between XLabs and BOIII, the team decided to take down BOIII as to avoid any potential further legal issues. It's important to keep that in mind, sm2 and XLabs are getting targeting for piracy, which although sad an frustrating, does not necessarily mean that all clients are at risk.

There seriously needs to be a boycott, these guys aren’t putting any effort into newer gamers and shoving bundles through people’s throats

I was 14 when this game came out I’m 22 now and I have so many memories with it :(

There was also an update that caused massive sfps stuttering, i have to play offline because when i play online its just unplayable

I completely understand the piracy, Its insane to still ask for full price on a 10 yr old game
