To all the people saying you cant have a gun on university grounds. Please educate yourself in the actual laws and bylaws implemented rather than make assumptions. The university system of Georgia has on campus carry laws. Private universities like Emory can prohibit the possessions of weapons on their grounds but public universities follow state law and allow for conceal carry. To say that you can't carry on ALL universities is simply false and ignorant. I attend a ga university and actively conceal carry on campus. Faculty offices, classes with high-school students or gathering areas containing high-school students are off limits. Other than those restricted areas, a legally owned gun by a citizen legally allowed to carry said gun with a permit is allowed to conceal carry and carry in a concealed manner a handgun as long as it is maintained in a concealed manner and meets the stipulations I mentioned above.

No active shooter. Just someone legally excersizing the right to bear arms. Whoever reported it as active shooter should be charged with false report and fined for all the expense of response

Schools, to include college campuses are no gun zones, most of the time. Varies by state. I'm pro gun, by the way...
