Yeah I’m all about making good use of the animals we hunt trap and catch but in all my years of coon hunting I’ve never eaten one, to be honest probably never will😂

@@natureboyswildlife2650 feed them to dogs, use fur for hats. Generally it’s just nuisance hunting and trapping so simply getting rid of them is the goal and making good use is second with the raccoons. Everything else I hunt I eat all of, but can’t get myself to eat no coon

I would like a recipe that doesn't contain racoon meat. Maybe rabbit or squirrel?

I don’t want to be that guy, you ate the meat so I can’t see anything wrong here, but dammit that was a cute raccoon

But some fish sauce from the grocery store and you'll bring them in. I caught a bunch just using cat food and spraying fish sauce around.

I did a pulled pork style out of my raccoon and it was really good, put in the crockpot all day slow cooked it shredded it up put BBQ sauce on it, then on a sandwich and it was actually pretty dang good!

I think it takes better than roast beef.

Game meat does better using a lot of acid stews, tomato, or lemon, wine.

Mmmm. Nothing better than trash panda and sweet potato fries.

Raccoons have been super sick lately I wouldn't eat it for the life of me I've ate it before but I wouldn't now that there sick but that one did look healthy but I'd just be safe
