hey buddy! i wear 7.5 in 990v3 joe fresh goods and they fit me very comfortable with roomy fit. Planning to buy lapiz lazuli 990v6. should i stick to same size or half size down ?

Passed on these even though I think it’s unique and for some to rock it to their style. Good review Sean, looking forward to the new and more conservative colorway coming this weekend.

Easily one of the best sneakers of the year and I'm not even a hardcore NB guy. But these a funky funky! Banger review, per usual.

As strange as it sounds, I love this colorway as soon as Action Bronson was wearing them to the match, especially when I see that orange and purple tab at the back. The suede on my pair is very buttery, and no I don’t like the other upcoming colorways from this collab 😂

I knew I couldn’t pull off these loud colors so I didn’t even try to get them. I like the lapis color way a lot more but I’m sure I’ll have no chance at getting them for retail.

Finally!!! Love this shoe.

So I have heard that the sizing for collabs is usually tighter than the regular ones. I went to a NB shop today, 8.5 felt a little tight but perfect in length, the 9 are just too long. Would it be good to assume that the sizing is the same for the next collabs (like the Carhartt)?

I always go half a size down across the board and they break in fine after wearing them 3-4 times for a few hours.

Any idea of where to cop on release day here in Canada the Lapis Lazuli's? I doubt i'll manage to score them on the New Balance site given the history of these events. Any advice would be appreciated!

@@SeanGo I checked out a new balance boutique near me and they pretty much said the same. I think END has a raffle that ships to Canada but the cost will basically be $400 for the shoes which is brutal. Still better than paying resale though.

You know those colouring books of cartoon characters you find in the doctor's waiting room, or at the library, where they have been thoroughly filled in with all sorts of random colours that doesn't go together by kids haphazardly? That's what these reminds me of.

These I can't get behind, but the v6 is still incredible. Came out of sneaker purchase hibernation this week to snag the grey day v6's, they're so gorgeous! Hoping to see a review of those too 👀

i recomend that stick to your normal size ( even if you have narrow or medium foot ) .. i spend 700$ for a wrong size .. the sad thing is my 990v6 ‘Lapis Lazuli’ and " carhartt " are coming with the same size as the baklava .. total lost 1710$ . from GOAT so no return :(

These are amazing - I am not paying half a stack for them. These resellers need to wake up I see a lot of pairs listed for 500 but the last sale is around 340 tops.

I was a fan from the first official images. Seeing Bronson wear these in the ring had me interested but incouldnt really see what they looked like. I like these more than the Lapis. Those look good but also boring. Had to pay resell for this pair but, the Lapis aren't worth resell to me

It does feel like £220 for UK 990v6’s is getting punchier and punchier. I just sent a pair of the black/solver back due to glue marks on the suede. I hope they’re not starting to milk these ahead of quality. As for this model, just impossible to get over here anyway.

I’m glad I skipped this color way. Just too much like a clown shoe. But I am interested in the lapis azul ones when they launch.

I've never liked action bronson but I love these.

My 990 V6 grays are still in the box !!!! I am not sold on the chunky sole !!! They just feel weird

Would've looked much better with a darker green, could of kept the whole theme of the shoe too.

They only fire cause they sold out and resell high af if they sat and actual fans were able to get them they wouldn’t be fire to anyone they just be another new balance shoe. It got botted and continues to be botted when people only want it for resell not to walk in lol

That's a lot of sneakers though, right? These are definitely loud but not many snesjers are designed to fly under the radar. Especially not collabs. Kind of unusual for NB as especially on a 990 model. Even the collabs on those are fairly subdued. The wilder colors and materials are usually on other models like 580s.

I love action but these are hideous

Too noisy of a colorway for me personally. I prefer more neutral tones these days, but if you're a loud person who says "look at me," you've met your match.
