Well spoken mr vp, but you speech raises a lot of emotions on those who lost their dear ones for the cause of Biafra, and will make them more determined to see that their death was not in vain, especially seeing that the apparatus and instruments that brought their death are still alive and active, still doing more harm to that section of the country in all unimaginable ways like Python 2 dance and planning for the 3rd. To live in such a situation is not worth it, hence people's determination to see to the end of this near annihilation agenda. No group will accept such a situation any more. Just for once, imagine wearing their shoes and contemplate it.

Well, Spoken Mr. Acting President, I appreciate the fact that NO good leader wants things to go BAD under his leadership, However, first questions is r d Igbos been treated fairly? How long do they have to wait for? , to be able to enjoy a free an fair state or share of the state? To me must Igbos in their hearts does not see Nigeria as a home any longer. The Muslim religion which is mainly practiced in the Northern part of Nigeria and western civilization appears as if it can not co-exist. How long do the Igbos even the Yorubas tolerate this barbaric set of human being? People whose religion appears to permit them to kill, it is a pit Mr. Vice President that under ur saga this flash points of segregation appears to be in its highest level on a one hand. On the other hand, must also say that Igbos separating from Nigeria does not guarantee peace within themselves, as a Yoruba who schooled in the east, I can also not forget the division, segregation among the igbos, they appear to have a more division, segregations among themselves. "A fool at 40 is said to be a fool forever" Nigerians is over 50years old, We can not afford to be confused in the future we want. hence the Igbos or Biafrans should come together, Iron out their difference, have a crystal clear understanding of their SWOT analysis after which if they still deem it fit to break out of Nigeria so be it. My personal view Biafran appears to have nothing to gain being in Nigeria, as they might never get a slot in the leadership or rulership the state this makes them a second class citizen in the own country or motherland.

I have always said this time without number that the marriage between Nigeria & Biafra has NEVER worked out & will NEVER work out. Reason being that, a situation where by a husband {Nigeria} keep punching the woman {Biafra} day in day out, no love for her, neglect, marginalize her, doesn't take care of her, doesn't feed her, doesn't care if she lives or not etc, if you are the brother/parents, friends of the woman, would you ask her to stay in that marriage? of cause no. Unless you want her dead body brought home. Let her go, the husband would not let her, love & keep her, no. But she wants to go despite the number of children {developments she has contributed to the husband i.e Nigeria} she bore the man. That is how i liken the relationship of Nigeria & Biafra. The best is for her to go so that both the husband & the wife would live QED. Am glad Mr Femi the former aviation minister shared the same thought with me when i watched him last time. www.we-need-biafra-now.com

Prof Osibanjo spoke the truth. However, in reality there is much bitterness fueled by injustice and a warped political structure. Most Igbo elite understand the benefits of being in a Nigeria that is run on an equitable political system where no one is shortchanged or hindered. Where these ingredients are lacking, agitation for separation will ever remain until ultimately something gives in. Our leaders should support a restructuring for true federalism otherwise they are paying lip service to a united and indivisible Nigeria.

Osinbajo, everybody is entitled to his opinion. Biafrans are entitled to their opinion as you are also entitled to your opinion. And for correction, the proverb Chinua Achebe gave literally means that the Biafrans should not sweep Biafran actualization into the carpet. The implication is that if the Igbos (Biafrans) forget the issue of Biafra, it means that they do not know from where the rain started to beat them in Nigeria. You even said it that no nation is perfect; and it is true, in the sense that the basis for the imperfectness of Nigeria lies on the constant marginalization of the Igbos. Mr. vice president, if you can tell yourself the gospel truth (because you are a christian), you should know that the aggregate ethnic composition of Nigeria is adversely affecting the proper development of the country. In the real sense, what is affecting Nigeria now is what the economists call "Law Of Diminishing Returns". There are great number of people (especially ethnic and religious groups) competing with the little variable factors in Nigeria which has caused abundant decrease in the output production and marginal production. There is a great need for the diversification of the country through division if the nations and the religious groups in Nigeria should go forward. Besides, another thing you said which i should cancel publicly here is this : there is no further war needed for the Nation of Biafra to have her Freedom. Biafrans have fought their war for freedom, and international law forbids that another war should escalate to stop Biafrans from having their long desired Freedom from Nigeria. It is not by coercion to remain one Nigeria! Marriage is not by force! If Biafrans should die when they have their New Biafran country, leave us to die. Nobody is the god of Biafra except the Almighty God of Biafrans.

Nigeria needs to divide, that's all.. it's 50yrs since, what have we achieved, the people are suffering and dieing of poverty, while corrupt politicians are sitting on their nation resources.. we going forward -backwards, corrupt politicians and individuals in power, selfish and greedy people, whom share the wealth of the nations among themselves and their folks.. politics is the disease in this world, politics.. if divided, each region shall progress better. truth be told, Nigeria has to divide..

Osinbajo (Yemi) must learn from history. Otherwise he could become another Obafemi Awolowo - advocate of 'one Nigeria' no matter how much blood is spilled. (Yemi has already displayed this spirit by stating that 'Nigeria does not need restructuring') Lets examine congruent facts between Awo and Yemi: 1. Both Awo and Yemi were born in March (days before the 'ides of March'). 2. Both Awo and Yemi are from Ikenne village, in Ogun State. 3. Awolowo and Osinbajo families were 'pillars' of Our Saviour's Anglican Church, Ikenne (although Pa Awo himself was said to be a grand master in both Freemason and Reformed Ogboni Fraternity). 4. It was Awo that brought about the marriage of Yemi's mum (still alive) and late dad. 5. The day Yemi was born (next to Awo's house in Apapa), one early caller was Awo himself, who carried Yemi in his arms and prayed for him at birth. 6. Yemi's wife Dolapo is Awo's granddaughter. Traditionally, they were not supposed to marry (being cousins) but Awo over-ruled this and gave the couple his blessings to get married 15 years before they actually did. 7. Awo and Yemi had/have an unusually close relationship with their spouses. 8. Yemi and Awo became lawyers and SANs. 9. Awo at age 57, was appointed Vice President of Federal executive council under Gowon; it was Awo that helped Gowon to 'package' Biafran war; Yemi at 57 years was selected as VP to Buhari; it was Yemi that helped to 'package' and sell APC and Buhari to Christians and moderates. Awo was Gowon's adopted 'father'; Yemi is Buhari's adopted 'son'. 10. Awo was called by Ojukwu 'the best President Nigeria never had'. Yemi could become the worst President Nigeria will ever have UNLESS HE LEARNS FROM HISTORY. WHAT IS THE KEY LESSON FOR YEMI TO LEARN FROM HISTORY?: ALLOW THE IGBOS AND ALL NIGERIANS SELF-DETERMINATION. DO NOT USE FORCE TO KEEP 'ONE NIGERIA'. CHAMPION A UNION OF WILLING PEOPLE, GOVERNED BY A TRUE PEOPLE'S CONSTITUTION. PRAYER: May God deliver Pastor Yemi Osinbajo from the demonic manipulations of the ''Awo Spirit'. May he not fall into the same role Awo played 50 years ago - fighting Biafra. May he realise that his ambition is not worth the blood of any Biafran, any Christian or any human being. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen!

It is truth going by your opinion that people can be Strong when they come together as one such in Nigeria but not as everyone sees in this present day Nigeria where we are not equally represented, nor given fairness, justice etc as Biafrans are not recognized and never thought they can be respected in Nigeria. Mr V.P you mentioned USA, UK but you failed to call the conditions of Biafrans in Nigeria inhuman and unacceptable situation and possibly make a remark on how they can be treated as important and subsequently given respect in Nigeria if you think that Biafrans are much needed in Nigeria. Telling stories of civil war, agitation and violence and all that does not make sense to Biafrans at this material time. The Biafran people are tired of staying together with other nations in Nigeria and for anybody to stop them means they are given full sense of belonging at every occasion of distribution of opportunities in Nigeria. Long live Biafrans in Nigeria.

Nigerians need to be wise; we have a limited time to make the best of what is left of our oil resources because the world is going to move away from fossil fuel. I feel for the Biafra course but this is not the time for infighting in Nigeria, it is the time to be wise. Oil prices are going to tumble eventually when the likes of Tesla flood the world with electric cars. Nigeria has a limited time to diversify its economy (IF NOT WE WILL ALL GET POORER), smarter countries round the world did this tens of years ago, just look at Dubai. Come on!!!!!! Let us show the world we are not as backward as they make us out to be. Think about 10 to 30 years from now and not the present difficulties.

well Mr vice president u are not a biafrsn and therefore it is not ur decision . u cannot decide for us but if the Yoruba's want to remain in Nigeria may be u can decide for them. all the population that consider themselves as biafrans should come out and support this urgent call for freedom. care should be taking to avoid another civil war through referendum but we are not scared to do so if need be

You are a good man but you should have spoken about this issue long time ago. For the fact that Nigeria is not a country of peace, freedom nor unity, it is a lawless country ruled by oppressors. Address the issue that is destroying Nigeria (hateful, greedy, corrupt Leaders) who aim to destroy Biafrans.

India practices cast system, Kenya's President was indicted for claims of electoral genocide at the ICC, Congo is has been described as a war torn country for a long time now where America and Belgium exploit their natural resources at cheap prices because of the war, Liberia was in a civil war under Charles Taylor until Nigeria intervened, Uganda, South Africa had apartheid, Cameroun has an unhealthy rivalry between the French speaking part of the country which also produce their President who has ruled for more than 20 years now. All this happen due to multiculturalism. Ghana 24 million people & one dominant ethnic group, Tanzania has one dominant African Language (Swahili) and about 50 million people. Togo & Uganda also have far lower population than Nigeria and the both have dictators uniting their country.

Then why don't we believe we are one, since their is discrimination between our tribes. You can't say parents, because everyone believe to come from another tribes.. Thus this is an error, if i were to be abducted from birth then maybe my real parents are from Calabar then the people that abducted me said my name is uche and i come from igbo i will accept the fact i'm from igbo... All human beings are the same so nothing to separate, I wonder all this fake pastors who are in support for separation i really do not know the kind of God they serve, all they want money...... bro you are also right with your speech
