I did this once before but not on purpose. it was right after work so I was wearing a tie and wanted a nice dinner for myself. had my notebook with me that I did doodles in to pass the time. best service I ever got. food was better than usual, with the food even displayed in artistic modern design. in the middle of my meal I had the head chef come out and personally ask me what I thought. felt bad when I realized they thought I was a food critic so I left them a 5 star review. I never told them I wasn't one tho 😂

I had the same thing happen and I was so confused! Like I was young and dumb and I was like "did the manager come over to flirt with me? That's weird!" Yeah, they probably thought I was a food critic because I was dressed nicely and eating alone. I was going to a book signing afterwards so I was like I wanna look nice for this author.
