    A.C.Antonacci est de loin la meilleure interprète de Cassandre, rôle bouleversant. Présence physique et vocale d'une intensité jamais égalée.

    I love this clip! the drama, the intensity and balance in the music between ACA's voice with the choir and very precise orchestration! I think the choir is the Monteverdi Choir (i recognized many of the singers from their Bach rehearsal video with JEG)

    I had the great pleasure, honor, thrill of seeing Shirley Verret sing this in New York in the 70s. One of the great evenings ever spent in the theatre. Like Miss Antonacci does now, Verrett owned the role then.

    For me, the best. The same scene by the Met with Norman is no march. The Met production was an embarrassmet except for the glorious Dido of Susan Graham.
