TIPS - One thing you might consider doing is keeping your stacks of Stupor at 2. Blexterity is still very problematic in MCOC and accidentally triggering it when you're at max stacks means an unavoidable evade and counterattack. - With chip damage being so problematic, a sneaky good option for the fight would be Horseman Gambit, who can gain full uptime of 100% perfect block. The catch here is that his SP1 has a guaranteed stun so you have to be very careful with him. 2. BUG FIXES / REBALANCING - Nothing to report... yet!

got him down today with relatively ok revives (2-3 Team revives to get going and then about 10-15 single revives). 6*R5 ascended Toad did a good job. Your video helped a lot, paused the game and looked up what I was missing. Lots of work must have gone into this video, it was a great help, thank you 🙏 😊 Actually it was very satisfying bringing him down 😎👌🏻

@@simula67 i brought white mags, toad, and nightcrawler, all 6* r4 but in the end it was all nightcrawler. The cannot be hit while dashing back thing is clutch in dexing his sp, especially the sp2 axe throw. Used like 20 revives plus a bunch of health potions cuz the dropped input kept making me parry while i was trying to dash back but once i figure out the right timing it wasn't that hard

Commenting now before I fight the boss, but as always thank you for making this guide! Your boss guides are always life savers for me so I feel very prepared going into this tonight! I'll report back later once I've died probably 1,000 times lol EDIT: Hi post Glykhan being dead Cap here now, I just have to say, you are a beautiful beautiful man! I don't think I've ever gone into a boss fight feeling more confident on how to beat him and I think it really showed by the 2nd and 3rd paths, the first attempt definitely took me some getting used to but once I was in the flow I was cruising! @@simula67the evade helped a lot too. Especially final phase when he goes immortal and you get rooted, neph mode makes it very easy to last the 17 seconds

Just did my initial 8.4 completion - a little late to the party, I know 😅 oh boy, what a good guide you have put together, many many thanks for that Sim! While all the abilities and mechanisms seem overwhelming, it gets better quite fast when going into the fight. Not the worst act 7/8 boss imho, Bahamet was way worse for me. Once again, thanks for your guide!

bloody hell. after years of not playing. your videos caused an itch i had to scratch. a few days ago, logged in, finished 6.3.1- 6.4.6 in one setting. Now, using a roster from 8 years ago, no way i can finish act 7 and 8 anytime soon. still, i enjoyed the episode. thanks.

For reference, act 7 is easier than act 6 , andddd, act 8 is wayyy easier than act 6-7 combined, with even less paths

Yeah bro I started back 4 months ago after 6 odd years off. My account was about 400k with zero 6*. Finished act 6, act 7 easier especially once you start getting a few 6*’s and act 8 a breeze. Got paragon, account now nearly 1.1 mil and have about 70 6*s. Getting TB is the turning point.

Thanks for the tip. I used it for completion today. I just need to do two more runs to 100% it. First run brought me a 7 star Moonstar, and Silk. I just pulled Photon the other day, so I'm on the fence on who to use the 1 to 2 gem on. Or, I can just wait until I open the Titan crystal after I 100% act 8.4

My man sleeping on Emma, especially with Cyclops synergy. She easily gets 10 prowess and on L2, huge damage. +100% increased attack, +2,880 crit rate, +530 crit damage.

You‘re really easy to listen to because you speak so calmly and serenely, sounds absurd but that makes a difference when it comes to absorbing all that information! He doesn’t seem easy but I got enough items ready so I can‘t wait to beat him tomorrow and become valiant :) I‘ll use Kingpin and my 7r2 Angela, her regen and armor should be a good mix of sustainability. Do you think Silk does decent? She‘s one of my most used champs, her physical vulnerability should allow some good damage right? Does her evade work in case I fail some dexes?

Unsure about Silk. Her evade will work, but her passive furies won't increase her attack rating and you won't want to do her normal combo because the stuns will trigger punishments. You'll also have no burst damage on her specials.

8.3 will be fine, it’s pretty easy. 8.4 I’m soon to see, but going by what Kabam says it’s gonna be really hard (as evidenced by Glykhan)

I think you'll be able to manage it. So far I haven't seen anything that really requires a specific champ to finish. Make sure you have some good champs ranked up for Cerastes and Glykhan but the time you get there.

I honestly feel like Glykhan isn't as awful as people make him out to be. Once his abilities are understood it's actually quite fun to fight him. I think the reason people feel he's so difficult is because he's brand new, give it a few months and they'll find him significantly easier than his current reputation makes him out to be. He's certainly a better built Boss than Bahamet, at any rate. Solomon Grundy there made me want to rip out my hair.

From what I'm seeing there's not much middle ground on him. Several folks like you are finding him not that bad at all, but a lot of others are really struggling. I do agree that he's really fun and once I was able to get the specials consistently dexed he became a lot easier.

​@@JudahHughes.Well you primarily want to intercept with kity to get the prowess, you get the prowess from the fight itself so she should be good regardless. Phasing into opponent's block and then immediately holding block to bait a heavy prevents a lot of chip

I didn't mention her specifically because I have limited time and space, and because I personally don't prefer using her over other mutants. She's a great champ for this fight.

After it wears off you still need to punish a heavy or special to deal the final hit

A couple things you might try here. If you're having trouble with the heavy, you can punish it after the first dex rather than try to nail the timing of both dexes. For his specials, you can always block a hit or two safely. Only direct hits will insta-KO you; you can safely block him.
