For Christmas my daughter bought me paint and canvases and gave me her old hair dryer. She watched me viewing your videos and saw how excited I got seeing process and the final products.Now I have no excuses but to jump in with both feet and just paint. I LOVE the Prussian Blue/ White split canvas, but my heart stopped when you said you were going to swipe the cells at the top.... they were so beautiful!

Hoi Rinske! Ook al kan ik 5 talen vloeiend, en woon ik niet meer in NL, helaas, zou ik graag voor jou in het nederlands willen schrijven. Dit is omdat jou werk mij zo diep raakt dat het wat intiemer is in 't nederlands! 😉 Ik heb jou werk sinds kort maar ondekt, en ben er erg gek op! Als ervaren schilderes ken ik natuurlijk allerlei technieken, en heb ik jaren ook erg véél goede videos beken, maar hier gaat het om wat héél anders, meen ik! 🎨 Zelfs door de videos heen voel ik iets diep spiritueels. Iets wat men normaal niet echt met de ogen kan zien, maar via jou dutch pours zie ik intense dingen, en voel ik emoties in mij opkomen die ik niet echt onder worden kan brengen. Ik ga door een moelijke tijd, sinds een aantal jaren al... En voel dat er eindelijk wat positiefs gaat gebeuren... Omdat ik weer in een turning point van mijn leven ben, en te lang niet meer heb kunnen schilderen, moet ik weer aan de gang! De drang ernaar is sterk. Jou videos, brengen vreugde en moed in mij op, niet alléen om weer met schilderen te beginnen maar in 't algemeen! Ik mis NL erg véél, en sinds verleden jaar zijn mijn plannen in het water geschoten om erheen te reisen... Ik moet jou medelen dat bij de tryptiek plots tranen in me ogen opkwamen, een warme emotie. Zomaar! Dit is mij nog nooit gebeurd, als ik een schilder video bekeek. Hoe mooi het mocht zijn! Met wat voor techniek of uitkomst dan ook! Ik dacht bij mezelf, "ik ben mischien moe", of "denk ik net aan een gebeurtenis?", of zo... Maar, dat was niet zo. En het gebeurde alléén op een bepaald moment, in die tryptiek. Ik bekeek het weer, later. Hetzelfde gebeurde mij! Nu ja, niets groots met de tranen aan de hand, hoor! Want met je anderen tableaus heb ik ook emoties. (Vooral die engel, waar ik een orchidee zag! Waarschijnlijk omdat ik net weer orchideën met waterverf maak) Maar, het tryptiek was wat heftig, en mooi. Ik wou het met jou delen. Ik denk dat het belangrijk is voor ons als schilderesen deze dingen soms te delen. Ik vindt het fijn om van mensen te horen wat mijn werk in hun bewegen doet! Mischien, een dag, als deze ellende van de virus voorbij is, kunnen we elkaar treffen. Zou leuk zijn! In ieder geval, ga zo door, je bent een toffe vrouw en pouring schilderes! Waarschijnlijk ook erg gevoelig! Hopelijk begrijp je wat ik jou schrijf, warme omghelsing. Blessings! 💖💫🌹

I'm a beginner. I love negative space too and I quit intentionally pouring over the sides because I love the random overflow rather than the uniformity. Love your videos and your art. And your fundraising project is brilliant.
