Acrylic Pouring: Drop Pour using a Bowl- Abstract Fluid Art
In this video, I show you how to create amazing fluid art using the Drop Pour technique. This is a fun and easy acrylic pouring technique that anyone can try. Fluid art is a great way to express your creativity and make stunning abstract paintings. Watch the video and follow along with me as I demonstrate this fun technique.
This is my version of this style of painting, using Fluorescent yellow, Fluorescent Blue, Cad Yellow med hue, turquoise, aqua green and ultramarine as my paint colors. I love how these colors create a bold and vibrant effects on the canvas. You can use any colors you like, but I recommend using some pearlized or metallic paints to add some shine and contrast to your fluid art.

Acrylic Paints
Pouring medium
Plastic cups
Stir sticks

Thank you Lori, I was a little nervous about that so….I know this sounds silly but I practiced holding the bowl a few time before I even started….. one day will have to go big and try a bucket drop pour🤣😊❤️
Are you also like how the black is in there it looks so neat
Great colours and end effect, although I really liked it just after the drop. Shame there was so much paint to tilt off but it did work out great anyway. As you like getting messy how about you try filling balloons with some paint, blowing them up and then popping them over the canvas? I can guarantee a mess with that one lol.

Thank you Paul, I also did not want to have to tilt that one but there were definitely some spots that need paint run over it ….. I think the force of the drop leaves patches of less paint. I love the balloon idea, ai think I may have seen it do before but I think the balloon was not inflated enough…. When I do it( not if) I will use full size fully inflated balloons ….. yeah going to be super messy. I have been extremely messy the last few week my tarp that I have over my floor is full of paint 🤣👍

@@michaelyacovelli1763 If you fully inflate then you'd better wear a hazmat suit and cover the whole room (including the ceiling I suspect) with plastic sheets. It'll be a blast in more ways than one. Good luck my friend.
