I did a 6 month nail tech course, and with all the steps we had to do, it used to take me 3 hours to do what you just did, and I got fed up and don't do it anymore! Watching what you just did in less than half the time, and getting the same result, has inspired me to try again, YOUR WAY!! Awesome!

Wow! I never thought to use glue and raw glitter like that! I'm not very good with smile lines so I mix my glitter with clear acrylic and brush it in a thin layer onto a clear plastic tip. Then when I build the nail I just use the clear acrylic and have a perfect smile line, but I like your way better!

I have never seen anyone throw the glitter on like that but it looks great. I would think that would be a waste of glitter but the finished product is awesome. Wish I had you to do my nails.

This is so helpful I have just started doing nails and I have got lots of glitters and never been sure how to do it with out making a total mess but this is sooo helpful. Plus your nails look AMAZING!!!!

I am a pro, I got my license in 2005. There are lots of different ways to do nails. Sometimes I mix my glitter w/ clear powder and sometimes I do it this way. Both work fine, look beautiful and have longevity.

pratice pratice pratice lol believe me it works. When I stopped bitting my nails and started paiting them I would always make a huge mess on my right hand there was nail polish every where, it's still hard to do but at least I can maintain the nail polish on my nails only. I helps if you put your elbow on a flat surface, it's gives your arm more stability and your hand won't shake as much.

I am 4 weeks into manicurist school and i have mixed glitter with clear powder and put on in different colored layers.. only two so far.. i am doing "fall" for my demo hand.. and good thing too.. cuz i kinda chewed up the fingers a little with my drill.. OOPS! but hey thats why i am in school at the age of 62!!! Yes i also use the file, but also trying out different bits for my drill.. i am so excited and now will use your tip on one of the fingers.. YOU ROCK!!! Thank You!! good luck to you getting your license.. and you are doing beautiful work, considering what i have seen in the people who are ready to graduate!!?? :D

@Mueylii I recomend using a carbide drill bit, it will not get hot like the sanding bands. They are available on my website its in the info box.

@parrisorganic She used a dotting tool to put on the hearts and if you use a uv gel sealer it is necessary to cure them. if not, the gel will not harden and your nails will be sticky.
