Thank you so much!! I try to pick colors that look good together. Different shades of dark blue, green, and turquoise are my favorites. I've learned from my mistakes over the years so now I stick to colors that I know work well together.

@@asmaesi There are rules you can follow. I don't have any videos about it but you could search for some videos about color theory, color harmony, and the color wheel. But I also think you should follow your instinct and use what you like.

Do you dip your brush in water?

Yes and sometimes a spray my palette with a mist of water to keep the paint from drying out on me.
Are you painting from imagination or a bouquet or picture?
