Hier bringe ich Euch ein zweites Beispiel dafür, wie man Acrylfarben und Stifte kombinieren kann. Der leicht raue Untergrund der Malplatte macht es leicht, mit den Buntstiften darauf zu zeichnen. Die Haftung verbessere ich zusätzlich mit einem Auftrag von transparentem Gesso, der über die Acrylfarbschicht gelegt wird, bevor ich mit dem Zeichnen beginne. Das Ergebnis zeigt eine besondere, lebendige Textur durch die Verwendung der Stifte. Zur Versiegelung kannst Du zum Schluss ein Fixativ darüber sprühen!
Here I bring you a second example of how you can combine acrylic paints and pencils. The slightly rough surface of the painting board makes it easy to draw on it with the colored pencils. I also improve the adhesion with an application of transparent gesso, which is placed over the acrylic paint layer before I start drawing. Herzlichen Dank für den Tippot dem transparenten gesso!! Bisher hat die Kombination mit dem Buntstiften (ich hab polychromos) nie funktioniert, weil es auf Acrylbinder nicht haftet... Werde mir gleich ein transparentgesso besorgen und loslegen😊 herzliche Grüße, Christa Zellnig

Bonjour Gerda. Un an d'hôpital ; je me remets tout doucement et bien que je ne sache plus faire grand chose et qu'écrire est déjà difficile, je me suis demandée quelles étaient vos dernières prestations. Je suis étonnée des polychromos sur le gesso transparent. Si ça ne ne fait pas (épaisseur, matière) je me rabattrai sur les pastels mais j'aime beaucoup votre façon de faire. J'ai vu que quelqu'un s'était rebattu sur les pastels. Votre rendu et ce format sont très satisfaisants. On dirait un enchevêtrement de lettres médiévales. Très beau. Merci d'être là, fidèle au poste. Continuez de vous faire plaisir et donc de nous enjouer. Joli printemps malgré tout ce qui se passe. Je n'étais pas vraiment consciente....je découvre ! Carpe diem. Hello Donna, acrylic binder is the binding agent that is contained in all acrylic paints that can be bought ready-made. You could also mix your own paints from acrylic binder, water and pigments (powder). For this purpose, you can get larger containers of acrylic binder from artists' supplies. There are acrylic binders with different properties, glossy or matt drying, drying with a hard surface or rather soft and flexible. A medium is actually something similar, there is also gloss medium, glaze medium, matt medium, gel medium. Similar to acrylic binder, you can also use it to change the surface properties or the consistency of the paint. So there are similarities. As a rule, you can also use an acrylic medium instead of acrylic binder.

When you mention using a black pen in drawing negative shapes, I see you are using a black pencil. I am sure this is a difference in translation, but I am calling attention to this misnomer to prevent any confusion for novice painters. I enjoy your donstrations immensely and look forward to your posts. Wyoming, USA
