Definitely in the top ten. This song and Strawberry Fields Forever are in my head the most in my life. I could be walking down the street and one of these two songs might be in my head and I'm singing the lyrics. I think because these two songs have a lot of feeling. Mind Games and #9 Dream also. It's always a Lennon song.

@@btom22259 I'm sorry, it would be too long to write about here. It's a whole chapter in my book. It's been sold out in Portuguese since 2017 (1000 copies). I have another 1000 copies ready (Portuguese version) but they are in Paraguay, where they were printed and roads have been closed for months. The amazing thing about this song is: there was only one 'take' of this song by the Beatles. Every version of this song you've ever heard has been created from re-mixes & additions / subtractions, speeding up or slowing down the original recording. This particular version is different and very moving. I cried upon hearing it. What else can I say?

Love this version of Across the Universe.

My all time favorite Lennon lyric, but never liked the way it was mixed as a song. This mix, however, is beautiful (and slowed down to it's natural speed so that John doesn't sound like a chipmunk!). Trippy, ethereal, and spacey; just the way Lennon would have liked it. Well done!!

John said in numerous interviews that "ATU" was probably the one Beatles song he most wished he could go back and remake -- the production process was so fractured it never came out even close to the way he wanted it. There were like four different versions and by that time in the band's career they weren't into working several weeks or months on a single song. This version points some directions John might have used if he had been around to use 21st century technology.

John never left us. As long as we have his music he'll always be here.

This is the near-perfect realization this song and its author deserve. Near as I can tell, it incorporates John's vocal and some select elements from The Beatles' arrangements (e.g., the intro, 2:30) primarily over the Fiona Apple version's backing track, which did wonderful things like that opening cymbal crash and utilizing the melody of Paul's backing vocals for the chorus organ riff. The only things I can think to add would be a select few of the backwards table harp phrases (from the "Hums Wild" version) for otherworldly texturing, and Paul's outro backing vocals.

Absolutely beautiful. The video opens with John sitting on a subway, closing his eyes and he begins to meditate and he disrcibes his experiences during meditation. It starts with noticing his thoughts then becoming aware of his feelings and emotions and then transcending into his own being.

I see John crossing the universe even as I listen to this music, and forever more...
