Sure, the chai tea joke was funny, but what really got me was the "here's the traffic, and here's everything the British stole from us!" joke 😅

In the Hindi version he says here's the traffic, this is the traffic's mum, here's the traffic's dad...as this is how you would phrase it in Hindi slang / common use. Karan is great. Love that they brought up the looted items...that have yet to be returned

its feels like she cant express a lot, but when she acts is incredible how spot on her voice is. Its amazing
Hailee really stepped it up for the sequel. Its always so great when sequels are made that allow the actors to really delve deep into their characters now that they have spent so much more time with them. The visuals are certainly astounding, but we cannot undercut the character acting and development this stellar narrative facilitates. March 2024 CANNOT come fast enough.
They did fantastically with Pavitr and Mumbattan! A lot Indian representation in Hollywood is inaccurate cringe so I was a bit worried 😅. Kudos to the creative team for taking the steps to give us a respectable interpretation
Sony please take your time with the next movie. Pull a James Cameron and don't be afraid to really take your time to make art. Spiderverse means so much to so many people, especially artists right now. Please please be kind to your artists and writers and let them put their passion and creativity and intelligence into that next movie. We're okay with waiting a little bit longer if it means giving Spiderverse the finale it deserves.
I wish they would talk to the artists not just the actors because the art in this is insane
I think moments like these make me realize that it is *ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL* to get to know your cast of who they are and what they represent to the film. You can’t always force actors to read a script and have them be invested, they have a form a relationship with their peers and the story itself. Modernization of film-writing at its finest; can’t wait for Part 3 ❤
I love how beautifully they embraced each culture. It was so nice to finally see an on screen representation of Puerto Rican and Indian culture. This is my favorite movie of all time.!
As a mixed kid (although a very different combination from Miles), this was some of the most represented I have ever felt in a film. Even in the first film I noticed the small details, from items around the house, or occasional words in a different language. All of it felt so real. And they are *the* central and normal family in the film. Nothing is special about them, they’re just a household with influences from each person who is there. You could tell that they had creatives and animators from different backgrounds and how collaborative it was. It never occurred to me before how little proper creative collaboration I have seen and how stark the difference is when they take the time to listen to everyone involved. I love that even more details were added in the second film and how influences were passed down. Those 10% or even that single person who sees that matter. That’s how you make a film real.

Hearing Miles say “bendición”, something I have been saying my whole life almost brought me to tears in the theater. Seeing my culture being represented like that was truly beautiful 🇵🇷❤️

Across The Spiderverse surpassed even the first one and the first one is ALSO a masterpiece. I can't get enough. This is 100% my favorite superhero story of all time. And it is the humanity of all the characters that people really resonate with. Also, I love the cultural awareness. It's a step in the right direction.
My mom is from Guadalajara, Mexico and I get "La bendición" every time I'm leaving. It's a Latino thing. I actually choked up in this moment. Only thing missing was the sign of the cross.

This movie franchise and the characters are so special. These are much more than movies. I'm grateful to every person involved with bringing these to life. ❤
this was literally one of the most beautiful animated movies i’ve seen in a long time! and not to mention that the storyline was incredible
You HAVE the greatest team for this movie. That's for sure!
The indian spiderman really cracked me up. I've been working in India, specifically Mumbai for a few years now. I can totally relate with the hectic traffics and the used of words like bhai and chalo chalo really got me. Love it when he mentioned the brits stole their stuffs. Gosh...
The scene that Luna Velez talks about at 2:30 made me cry so hard in theaters. So powerful!
Really looking forward to watching it seen out of the film reviewers went to the preview and it getting lot of 10 out of 10 well done to all who worked on it be lot of hard work to do the graphics
I love that they used Gwen's theme when Hailee spoke
Loved the film and hailee’s enthusiasm for her fellow costars is beautiful
I can totally see Gwen on Hailey's voice. Its awesome how she voiced gwen in her natural voice
Gotta agree with the bendicion part. That should have been there in the first. I wanted to jump out of my seat when it happend
Across the spider-verse has honestly become one of my favorite movies of all time. All the deeper meanings and hidden lessons throughout the movie really struck a chord with me. It really helped me recognize and express many surpressed feelings I've been having lately as I'm currently in a very vulnerable period of my life. Super thankful to the whole team for creating something so wonderful that helped pull me out of some dark times.
The bit about the mood ring is so spot on
Bendicion is a Hispanic thing in general, not just primarily Puerto Rican. As a Venezuelan, I say this to my parents every day when I see them
Yeah, for sure, the bendición part was just one of the most significant parts of the film. It meant a lot for me as a Brazilian. ❤❤❤
The more i learn abt this film the more i fall in love with everything abt it. The culture, depth, and heart put into these movies is unlike anything i’ve ever seen before. Just incredible. All of the hard work shows.❤️❤️
I liked that wr got to see Miles embracing his Spanish side. I have afro Latino on my mom's side with a mix of African, puerto rican, Jamaican . I didn't grow up speaking Spanish, but my mom, grandma, and me would speak Spanish occasionally, and I am a veteran, so he teaches me French, and I'm learning both . The movie was so well executed that you really get to see each character fight for the same thing, which is family, and to save their own universe. Each spider character has gone through something and has had a loss that in a way made them stronger and fight harder. I loved seeing the newer characters on screen and how each ine had their own personality, how each parent us alike yet different in how rhey raise their kids and the relationships they have. We see that Miles loves his family but like mist people, he has a hard time balancing being a secret identity as a superhero while being in school and being around his family. I live all the camharcters and can't wait for the next film, when in theater the day it came out; it was nice to see how all of us from different backgrounds could connect with the characters and even had the same reactions like Miguel throwing away the empanadas or Miles saying whatever . Gwen feelung down and honestly her and Miles both felt lonely because it was if they got each other when nobody else did.
Now I know why deadpool and dopinder are friends, he was always a spiderman
