Copped the p41 in Grey as well as the alpha green j16. Definitely happy with my choices. Only regret was not being able to get one of those neck gaiters

Nice breakdown I agree j16-gt in alpha is clutch, managed to convince myself to get a p41-ds in small instead though, since getting a gtex shell in summer is ridiculous😂

Thanks, and nice! I guess you live on the other side of the globe then, because over here it's definitely not summer 😅, and this is also the "Fall/Winter" collection (even though Acronym doesn't really design for seasons, and also releases GTX in summer.

A note on the shoulder pockets: It says in the description for the J16 that it's an iteration on a PCU Level 5 jacket, which is a kind of outerwear that the military uses, and is evident on the J16 itself with its style of side entry pockets and slotted button (commonly used in modern military gear). Most mil tops have bicep/shoulder pockets since you'd be wearing a rig or vest over the jacket/shirt, and they can indeed be uncomfortable and not the most convenient. But I think what ACR did with making them detached like the J1B's pockets is pretty smart, as it should be more comfortable than conventional shoulder pockets. Bought one in Alpha Green, can't wait for it to show up.

Yeah, hut PCU pockets are not so high on the deltoid though. Congrats! It's a beautiful piece anyway!

The spec sheet for the P41-DS describes 12 pockets, and I can't find any more then that when looking!

I think the comments about the j16-gt being cosplay like are fair but in reality that could be said about all high-end fashion brands. Clothing is an art at this level fashion with a high level of ingenuity and creativity . People wearing it want to create a look and I think a large part of acronym success is building that audience. in fact most clothing being call a costume wouldn’t be a stretch ether. The things We wouldn’t consider cosplay like or costumy are most likely clothing that is common for this time period but will fade out of place in a few years. How many people have items in there closet that will sit there forever because they were bought for a season not a lifetime. Most people buying into a high-end brands are invested into the art so they will enjoy the clothing even after it falls from Center stage(trending).

What store sells acronym in person? I live in nyc and have never seen that.

Hi, as far as I know Kith en Hotoveli are stores in NYC that sell Acronym. You should ask, because usually, the drops immedialtely sell out, so you probably won't find it just casually hanging there 😅

Is the J-91 the warmest insulator acronym makes?

Don't think the J91 will necessarily be any warmer than the J58 or any other Primaloft insulator, just bigger, but I haven't tried either of them out so I wouldn't know for sure.

@@AggaCityGang I just got the j-91 and its as warm and thick as a regular down jacket, its definitely warmer than the j58.

I agree that the best part of this drop is the addition of the videos on the website. I was quite surprised that their website lacked these in the past, given how ACRNM is a brand primarily focused on function and movement and has a higher "skill ceiling" than other technical apparel. To me, I'd like similar content to what was done at early SISP, showcasing the entire collection and item cohesion to other items - liners, etc.
