    Do you have a video or can you show us how to view traffic by week or by month in the basic reports or do we have to build a custom report to see weekly and monthly traffic?

    Any idea why we'd be seeing all revenue on the Traffic Acquisition report show as Unassigned while it appears to be working correctly on the User Acquisition report? On Traffic Acquisition all the other metrics for each channel grouping look fine until you get to conversions and revenue. It shows zero revenue for all channel groupings except Unassigned, which has very low sessions and users but all the revenue for the website being reported there.

    hello Julius, if we have 2 event in Event count column, event 1: page_view_home event 2 : add_to_cart, how we add more columm to see each event in other column

    6:20 What will happen when user change its source / medium or campaign DURING active session? As we know, GA4 do not create new session within this condition, but how it will be visible in Traffic acquisition report? I see that sometimes I have more session from rows than aggregate (on top of the column) shows, sometimes summed up rows show less than aggregate. It never happens in GA3 reports, the aggregated values from the rows have always agreed with the aggregate at the top of the column.

    How do you graph a specific referral source? I can see all the sources but I'd like to see a traffic graph of just once site not all of them

    when you talk about 'sending purchase data' back to GA how is that done? Is there a way I could attribute purchases that happen on a third party site to these specific Traffic Sources?

    Connect google search console with GA4. And then check that data. You cannot see keywords in acquisition reports

    Great video, thanks. The tip about having to hide sidebars and zoom out is a good one but is indicative of the slapdash approach that Google have appeared to have taken with GA4 - it would seem obvious that users want to see all available metrics without having to scroll around...where was the UX team?!

    great explained...I want to know how long Google track a one user's sessions or user stay in the session? Let's say one user come to my site via organic today and tomorrow that same user come from the email newsletter so here 1 user with 2 sessions counts? Where I will see the breakdown?

    Looks like Google is putting less and less emphasis on AMP. I would not be surprised if it will be discontinued fairly soon.

    my question is ( if first user come from organic search so it will be count in user acquistion report as a first user ) and ( later same user come from paid search so now it will be count in traffic acquisition report as a session default ) but my question is if the user come again so it will be not count in user acquistion report because its not a new user its a existing user

    at the second 1:33 >> the same also for conversions. if the user came from organic and made the first session and second session came from email marketing. the user made in the session of email marketing a conversion. It means that the conversion will be attributed to the organic ? thanks in advance

    What is "direct" in GA4? In UA my direct used to be a lower count than now. Direct in GA4 has a huge amount and "Organic" much less. Seems a bit off. So I am wondering if you know what's the difference between "directs" in UA versus GA4 since this traffic source shows different values in each.

    Direct means the same thing in both versions - "traffic source is unknown". But GA4 attribution model is different, which causes more sessions to be attributed to direct.

    How are the numbers in Direct and Organic calculated? I understand that for websites, it is when someone directly inputs the website into a URL. But for mobile apps, I can't seem to find an answer on how the numbers here are computed..

    Direct means that GA4 does not know the traffic source. It's not necessarily "someone entered the address in the address bar".

    5:18 you say first user came from google/organic and the LATER he came back from email/marketing. Why does GA still count his second come as first user? because his first come was from google/organic ? sorry im still confuse lol

    If USER ACQUISITION = FIRST CLICK ATTRIBUTION And TRAFFIC ACQUISITION = LAST CLICK ATTRIBUTION Then why do we choose ATTRIBUTION type in the ACCOUNT SETTINGS. EX: Our ATTRIBUTION TYPE is set to DATA DRIVEN. Does USER ACQUISTION and TRAFFIC ACQUISTION take this into account?

    ​ @AnalyticsMania I was able to find out what is the problem and fix it. And ofc. nobody explained such a case. I was looking and reading and searching for 2 days and I found nothing. Apparently, not all industry categories (when setting up the property) have those reports available in the dashboard as it was with the Universal analytics. I picked "Games" and those reports were missing. Change it to "Select one" and they appeared as normal... Imagine I didn't think of this, cause It wasn't like that before and nobody, even google blog, wrote about it...

    It means you are probably using custom UTMs that GA did not assign to any channel grouping

    Top right corner. If you can't see it, you don't have enough permissions in the property.

    That's because you are watching videos in random order. My ga4 course contains the lessons in correct order, also a lot of lessons from that course are not available on my blog or youtube. That's how you would not have gaps in your knowledge and understanding lessons would be easier.
