ADP original has became my all-time signature of all my collection of frags, including almost all other ADP's too. Really versatile and a really trusted wingman for me, year around.

The Colonia collection is my favourite when it comes to casual and easy wear for any occasion. Colonia has a soap bar smell, Futura is natural lemon and pepper smell(Similar to Eau Sauvage), the old formula of Club is sporty fresh and Intensa is the original with a leathery touch to it. Essenza is the original amped up. All very safe and office-friendly.

@@charliehill2133 Not a common scent profile you'll find anymore. So not many. But Colonia Futura is kinda in the same realm as Eau Sauvage allthough doesn't smell identical. Citrus and Herbs just formulated a bit different. Casamorati Fiero is a niche version of Eau Sauvage. Colonia only thing i can think of is older bottles of Armani Pour Homme.

Colonia is awesome and I love ADP in general. You need to carry this one with you though and re-spray every hour or two. But you’ll smell awesome. Essenza plays best on my skin. Better performance and more mature, although I am the wrong side of 40 now!

Nice review! I'm looking for some strong winter fragrance from acqua di parma. What do you recommend long lasting e potent no sweet from acqua di parma?

This scent was a favorite of Cary Grant, David Niven, and Gregory Peck.

I also get a strong floral-petitgrain soap vibe from RFR's Artisan Pure for JV. This one has more rosemary giving it that greenness. Would recommend the Intensa for a more modern sour-ish lemon take with a superbly blended myrrh in the base, or the Essenza for a laundry musk neroli. Wish the petitgrain in the opening of Essenza would last longer. Great take Pete!

If you like this one check out sunday cologne by Byredo. Its a beautiful and fresh gentleman scent like this one but a lot different so its worth owning both. To me it smells like a 40 something year old british guy with a good job that goes sailing on the weekends.

Love old school quality, in fact floris of London released lotion elite as a shaving cream in 1851. Then it was copied by Carlos benaim/Ralph Lauren and released as polo in 1979, they took all the credit, floris decided to bottle it in 1980 realising their scent had been duped and was such a success so then decided to bottle floris elite. I wear it quite often tbh, very affordable, very versatile,

You're right, the og colonia doesn't have the best performance, but the flankers are much better.

Always been confused of which aqua di Parma to purchase as there seems to be plenty of citrus to choose from in the line so this has really helped although saying that I’d probably just go and buy Chanel’s pour monsieur instead

Chanel’s pour monsieur is for someone over 60. Aqua di Parma is for anyone with some style. Very timless

Fico Di Amalfi and Osmanthus are my favourite two from the brand, but only Fico Di Amalfi is good enough for me to own because it has more interesting dry down than Osmanthus which is great in the opening, but the base is quite boring. Fico Di Amalfi on the other hand preserves a general idea of the fragrance through the base a bit better.
