I loooove the Chrome Extreme...maybe my best cheapie,very aromatic and fire 🔥 in the high heat💙

Haha I know Profondo is held in high regard but it just does not do it for me. Maybe I got a weak batch but mine performs like 💩. Soft projection and poor longevity. It could also be that I just can’t smell it. There’s a few scents out there that I go nose blind to very easily. But even then, I personally just don’t find Profondo to be all that interesting. Outside of the edt, I would probably take the rest of the Acqua di Gio line over Profondo. For the price, I think the azzaro is a much better buy for most people.

I don’t have profundo… chrome aqua extreme I do have! I do like aqua di gio absolu and it reminds me a little of that fragrance without the “bite” I feel like chrome did it better and is a bit smoother and not as cloying. Thanks for the review!!

I use both. Chrome Extreme for everyday,common situations and Profundo for fancier, more special occasions.

I am absolutely in love with ADG Profundo and currently have it. I wish it lasted longer on my skin, but maybe I just go nose blind to it because I can smell in on my shirt the next day. Not sure. But either way it is my go-to. Tips, advise or knowledge on the longevity would be greatly appreciated!

I own both. Got quite a bitnof compliments from both. U use the chrome as a daily work frag during the summer alot. Despite I have a 200ml of ADG, I only wear it to the beach and on outings/clubbing during the summer. I like it more than Chrome because it performs a little better and it's a better put together fragrance

I like ADG Profondo until I went nose blind to it. So I sold to someone. Now I'm waiting for Azzaro Chrome Extreme (ACE) to arrive in the mail. ACE does have similarities to profondo like you said when I tried them both at Macy's years ago. When I tried Azzaro Chrome Extreme it smells sort of like Polo Deep Blue too.

I just have the chrome extreme cause everyone said they’re the same so similar and I don’t need 2 that smell so close and it’s cheap so I can buy something else completely different

Profondo is nice. Very nice. But to me it is overloved. Profumo was the best ADG ever got, the new Parfum notwithstanding. Never smelled the Azzaro, so hoping to get a whif of that to compare.

Profondo doesn't last on me, i just get Profumo, for me it lasts all day and smells better.

Should of added Bulgari Aqua Atlantique to the mix.

Profondo & most of ADG flankers don’t smell good on my skin. I prefer the Chrome extreme just due to that. However, I feel like Chrome Extreme is a mix or profondo & just a little profumo. I get that type of feel when I wear it (:

Same for me i tried Profondo plenty of times on paper and smells amazing but when i spray it on my skin it dosen't work for me the smells i like goes away and turns into this almost dirty smell (its not my skin either thats dirty 😂)

@@PIMPSTA951 yes! Same thing for me with ADG Absolu, incredible on paper and dirty on my skin. Saddens me i can’t wear some great scents. It seems anything with aquatic notes hates me lol

⁠@@jeremynalan1922Anything aquatic definitely hates me too you're not alone im so happy to hear this cause I thought some was wrong with me same with versave pour homme or light blue intense all those aquatic notes do not sit right with my skins smells like a rubbery ballon of some sort... lol the only aquatic scent that sits well with me is honesty prada ocean

I enjoy both, but Profondo is my favorite of the two without a doubt. The combination of herbal green notes, citrus, and that strong aquatic element is amazing, and it isn't too sweet (which is where Chrome Extreme can lose me a little bit). What is most interesting to me, however, is how Profondo reacts to heat. I ordered my bottle of Profondo last winter and was really frustrated about how poorly it performed off my skin. Now, in summertime? It absolutely explodes and smells amazing for hours. Maybe it needed to macerate more, but I still find that the hotter summer days really activate that good good stank with Profondo. It's my usual gym scent for winter, and either Profondo or Chrome EDP for walking around/hiking in summer.

Do you have any others from the Chrome line and if so what's your favorite, or how would you rank em

I'm in the process of buying all the chrome flankers. Once I do I'm going to do a video highlighting them all. Right now pure and extreme are the best in my opinion.

Chrome is such a good alternative to Profondo. The fact that it is a inexpensive price, go ahead and spray it on all day. it will pull compliments.

It might be the Calone. It can do that in aquatic fragrances.

Don't buy ADG Profondo, get Hugo Reversed instead, you'll thank me later, the opening is different but the heart and base notes are 85% the same, probably due to the rosemary being the most prominent note. I've never tried Chrome Extreme, but I've used the original for many years and I think it's a great, invigorating smell for after a shower on summer mornings.

Everything is subjective with fragrance for sure, Hugo Reversed is a great cheapie for running to the store or gym, But in no way is it 85% close to ADG Profondo. The scent is complete different and not even in the same scent group. The only things that make them close is the Rosemary and the Citrus. But other than those two aspects they are complete different scents.

Profondo is NOT smooth... It's rough and strong. Chrome Extreme is blended more smoothly and just a better blend IMO. I own both. Zero reason to spend triple the price for ADG Profondo.

My wife loves Profundo.

Chrome Parfum is even better than Chrome Extreme
