Fantastic Negrito first arrived on our radar in 2015 when he won NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Contest with his song “Lost in a Crowd,” beating out nearly 7000 other submissions with his fresh approach to roots music.
The project of Oakland, California musician Xavier Dphrepaulezz, Fantastic Negrito has had a massive year since its Tiny Desk win - opening for Chris Cornell on his European and upcoming North American tour, guest-starring on Fox’s hit show Empire, and writing a full-length album, Last Days Of Oakland, which comes out June 3 on his label Blackball Universe.

Read again. It's an AJ45me. Yes I know it's an Epiphone Masterbilt. I had the first one in Europe and I have been telling everyone how good they are since April 2015. That's the reason I said whoop whoop, doh!

Pardon me. By the way, I found one AJ-500RNS in my country and now I'm so excited to get it! I'm playing EJ-200 and I love that baby, but thought of getting all-solid-wood guitar makes me SO THIRSTY.
