Thanks for another enjoyable review. Acoustic energy appear to be another one of the smaller speaker companies making high quality products for the money, keeping the big companies on their toes.

Great review. I would highly recommend reviewing the Gallo Strada 2. Really curious how these would stack up.

I am glad that AE blows away B&W's 6's because they are just wanna be hi-end, hi resolving, but they are a sund nest stage mess with lots of rings and zzzings... The sound of instruments is totally unnatural. HI-fi is fidelity to sound of real acoustic instruments. And B&W's are faaaar from this. Even objective measurements show 6's poor design and measurments anomalies, which are audible.... so how can such a speaker be something top under 1000?? Ok, I know our hearing and registers are very very different, but I really can't believe when someone praises B&W 6's and does not hear it's maaany caveats... they are horrible for my ears.I am glad that AE's blows away B&W's 6's. I run mine with a Rega IO & they sound really good!!
