I never wanted my villagers to move away because I love them all so much, but it does make me feel bad I don’t let them go because they want to do something different. Although they’re still okay with staying without too much hard feelings.

In New Leaf I would always write a heartfelt letter to a villager after they thought about leaving, just trying to help them feel loved and appreciated. I guess my empathy dropped off a bit in New Horizons...

I can never let my favorite villagers leave me, they are all my friends. I always hate it when they get the idea of leaving... and my island is 5 stars.

This is so cute! I remember when I was playing New Leaf on 3DS, I made a rule for myself that if any villager asked to leave, I'd let them. I was fine until my favorite villager Nan moved away. I was so distraught by her moving away that I actually had a dream about seeing her. This video gives me bittersweet feelings, reminding me of friends long past, but I'm happy that they're out there, living their best lives. :')

Yeah i have a rule too, if handheld flag shown no leaving island picture, they cant leave, if it has checkmark tho, they can, but it depends on carrier or what theyre tasked with..

When a villager is thinking about leaving, I usually click no, but but if it’s a villager via campsite, it’s usually a tough decision because you don’t know who to do

I never make my villagers move away if they are thinking to move away

For some reason i made up a leaving permit on my island, based on the hobbies or industrial work, example:del wants to be a firefighter, he is not allowed to leave until a new one appears, if the villager would have different passion job, he could leave, it just depends on these hobbies.

The 2 villagers I’ll never leave are Mint and Ruby because they are so cute

There are some villagers I refuse to let leave. The ones I really cant stand I kick out, and the rest I let them go when they want to.

Man, what an animation, artstyle and improvement, but a bit sadder of forcing you to leave your villager. It just hits me so bad. And looking at the comments on how they miss their beloved one just tears me up.

Is happening something that I missed? This video seems more serious that It is and I feel bad... Whatever is happening, i am so sorry and don't fear, there is Hope always at the end
