Did mine 2 years back, keep focusing on mobility, Functional strength and A lot of plyometric:) The journey took me 7 months to get my basic strength back but now, I'm fully functional and back to powerlifting and Muay Thai! Rest well Nero!

Hiya! Hope you are healing the ACL well :) Thanks so much for sharing the experience! Did you tear your meniscus as well and did you use your quad tendon or was it something else?

Good luck with the recovery, how did it feel to tear your knee? I have been heel hooked by an aggressive sparring partner who knew I had no sub defence, I was worried my LCL got torn but I have a high pain tolerance so I never can tell

Oh you'll notice when it pops. Its not so much about the pain, its about the discomfort. It snaps like a twig. Loud. Then your knee buckles and gives out when you walk. Tap to heelhooks, Early. Like asap!

@@NeroMMA I didn’t tap, I yanked my leg the wrong way. Thanks for the info brother, hope your recovery is well, and I think I need to get scans on my knees asap 😆

They are not fun, thats for sure. However, rehab and proper strength and conditioning can get you back to competing in sports.
